I want to volunteer in Asia if I don't get into grad. school for about 6 months.

Maybe volunteer with orphans, I think that would be an amazing experience. Now I am gonna check to see if there is an orphanage around here. Or with the elderly, I took care of them and they really love company. Both of those would please God very much. He loves the orphan and the elderly are to be treated with the utmost respect.
