I worked at a huge bookstore and that was the area we were to keep an eye on the most. I guess people dont feel like paying for a book that has so many contradictions. (sad really)

People really need to be saved, and they're broke?
Umm . . . maybe they think the Bible shouldn't cost anything?
Maybe God is pulling copies from the shelves, so they're just disappearing in a puff of smoke?
I have no idea. I'm just making stuff up.

Really! that is surprising because of the fact that generally Bibles are among the heaviest and larger books on the shelf.

Shoplifters understand irony. Stealing a book which states,
"Thou shall not steal".

I never heard that. But, if they'd lower the price on them, maybe people could afford them.
