STOP, read this: - This is NOT the time to use the Web, don't do it, there are Horror Stories - if you have a limited budget or not. The stress alone is too high. Get all the girls together and go to a Rental Shop - like the Groom will be doing - you have many to choice from - No one wants the damn brides maid gowns after, no one every wears them, so Rent them -and everything is included! You have enough to do just getting the rest of it done. April is just around the corner. Congratulations, and Merry Christmas.

There are many outlets that provide very nice and inexpensive bridesmaids gowns for a low price. Try the bridal outlets stores and also outlet stores such as J.C. Penny's or whatever. For your wedding and for your bridesmaids I think that finding them in a shop will be less stressful and more successful than getting them online or from a catalog. There is always the thought of alterations or wrong sizes or many other problems that could arise unless your girls try on the dresses and go from there. Then you can either have family or friends alter the dresses in spots if needed or you can go to an alteration shop with them or some dry cleaners also do alterations. I would prefer to see, feel and examine my bridesmaids gowns and see them on the girls rather than the other alternatives.

I would suggest that you order the gowns from a bridal shop or otherwise purchase them from a reputable store. Ordering bridesmaids dresses online can be a hassle that you do not need. I suggest checking out david's bridal also. They usually have some good stuff.I am using eden bridals.Their dresses are nice and not too epensive.

Also if you need help with the planning and finding really good bridesmaids dresses check out the knot, brides and the wedding channel.

I got my bridesmaid dress at a second hand store for $10. and then had it altered for $40. These dresses are only worned once most of the time and the dress looked brand new! I got my flower girl dresses off of ebay and they were awesome -- 2 dresses for $60 w/ s&h. They came w/ gloves and a hair piece.
I also got my dress from ebay for $100 and it was great! Just make sure that you order them in time to get something done w/ them in enough time in case they don't fit or you don't like them.

Good luck and Congrats!

Keep in mind is that everyone doesn't need to wear the same dress. I've seen some really cute pictures with girls wearing totally different colors/styles with each carrying a different colored bouquet.

Or, you could find a dress or fabric swatch that you like, and just tell all the girls to find something that matches.

This would make it a lot easier too if you have girls that vary in size.

We "struck gold" at David's Bridal on the clearance rack. When I went shopping for my gown, I took one of my bridesmaids with me, and we just looked at the clearance rack and we both fell in love with forest green sleeveless gowns. They were like $57.

With the blue, you should be able to find a good deal at any large bridal shop in your area.

Good luck and congrats!

Check your yellow pages for resale shops. I found some really nice ones in my area that had a great selection of dresses in a range of sizes. Current styles too, not that 80's foo-foo stuff. Good luck!!
