Cardio exercises to burn fat from the body (you can't just lose weight in your belly, sorry) , coupled with ab exercises to tone the stomach muscles and there should be some improvement...
Cutting back on the beer or switching to a Light (lower calorie) brand would help as well.

Simply burn the fat by exercising on the regular. Crunches only do some good.
Stop drinking BEER it'll also do some good.
It is a big challenge to minimize the size of the belly.

There is no one magical exercise that is going to reduce your belly. It takes 1200 calories per day just to keep you alive....status quo. If you maintain a diet of 1200 calories and do any sort of exercise at all, you will begin to lose weight. I would start with skipping...as in skipping the trips to the pub. If you must go, then drink a diet softdrink or water. Take the stairs instead of the lift, walk as much as possible.

Take 10-12 cans of beer daily. And you should take beer instead of water. It is a good storage point why you want to reduce it.
Anyway if you really want then do regular exercises under the guidance of an expert and reduce your diet 15-20 percent. It will take a very long time to get what you want.

There is no one magic exercise to reduce just your belly, You need to reduce your overall bodyfat, cardio exercise is the best and only after you've achieved the right amount of fat on your body will you see any change and the elusive sixpack might then appear. You'll have to cut back on the beer, because it blows you up and make it look worse.

Top exercise for weight loss
There is no doubt that you can lose weight without exercise. But with exercising you can speed up the process of weight loss. Exercise mainly help you lose weight in the following ways:
* Burn more calories while exercising
* If you exercise for longer hours, you will be able to burn calories at an high rate for an extended period after you have completed your weight loss session.
* If the exercise places a high enough load on your muscles, they will increase in size, and burn more Calories even when your body is at rest.
This method is an important aspect of weight loss as it makes you to burn more calories at all tiles. Muscle tissue is more "metabolically active" than body fat. With more muscle and less fat, your metabolic rate is naturally higher.
Muscular variation occurs most readily when the load placed on a muscle exceeds about 60% of its maximum contractile strength. This makes weight training one of your best exercise choices, and the most direct path to a sleeker, shapelier body.

Many people make the mistake of doing crunches or sit ups to get rid of belly bulge. However, that can actually develop the stomach muscles and make them bigger. That's the last thing you should do. (Literally) First, you should do some cardio to get your heart rate up and to burn fat. Then when you've lost a few pounds you can tone your tummy with the crunches and sit ups.

well gautham, i would like to tell you that there is no special exercise to reduce your belly. there are a set of exercises which go along with the kind of food you eat. however the few good exercises are:
jogging(6minutes per kilometer)
speed roping(skipping-30 mins-medium to high intensity)
crunches(do them until you feel a burning sensation in your stomach-that would indicate to you that the ab muscles have worked perfectly)
you should eat foods which are high on proteins and low on fat.some examples are soya milk, sprouts, pear, chicken breast, tuna cooked, milk, tofu, and apples.

Sit ups work
So do crunches
But the best exercise is the one where you walk AWAY from the refrigerator where the beer and food is.
