The United Kingdom has cities and those cities have suburbs. Suburbs are specifc areas that surround City Centres or are just outside the city itself.

They are usually more residential and family orientated than inner city high rises or apartment living. Think semi detached/ detatched houses, bungalows with nicely kept gardens and driveways.

most places in the world are built basically the same, country , city, town, village,,, it is mainly towns and cities that would have true suburbs, though we may also call them districts in the uk. Each one is given a name and an example would be Edgbaston as the suburb or district, located in the city of Birmingham. Hope this helps

What ARE you talking about? The United Kingdom, which is the Island of Britain, is an island. Islands don't have suburbs--suburb, meaning less than a city in latin. London has suburbs, Manchester has suburbs, Edinburgh has suburbs, but nations do not have suburbs.

Countries can’t have a suburb but cities can.

Suburbs are the residential areas outside of the city centre…& as we have a number of cities - then yes of course we have suburbs.

I just love your question, its brilliant!

United Kingdom is quite a big place it would take about 10 hours to drive top to bottom. Its not big compared to Usa though its about the same size at Florida.

Our houses and communitys are a lot closer together for example in London a Four bedroom house would cost you about £2,000,000 thats about $4,000,000 and 2 miles away is Hackney one of the most dangerous places in the country where most houses are given to poor people, they have the same no of killing as Chicago.

There are nice places and crap places all over the country, but it is too expensive to live hear and taxpayers are financially raped!

That is why My partner and I are moving to Florida in the new year. What we can get for our money there is amazing we are 25 and we can buy a house 3 or 4 times the size of what we have hear and without a mortgage. In most places in london you cant even get a 1 bedroom flat for $500,000.

You need to visit the Uk to understand how it is laid out compared to the US. Uk is more rude more aggressive and kids are out of control so we dont blame you for not visiting. Unless you are on drugs, homeless or a criminal then it is a great place to live. We will give you a free house and money and let you sponge off the state, feel free to commit crimes hear because you cant get punished cos guess what..............There is no space in our prisons.
