Any one can l pray to God.. WE all sin. Most of us haven't made sin into a life style that we live in. We recognize out sin confess them, forsake them, and give then to Christ and we receive forgiveness. Can you do that with your struggle to live for God? I take it you work with our youth for the joy of helping and not for any petafela desires? If you had anything like that in your mind, do yourself a favor and get away from young boys!!! I don't say that out of hatred I it you that to protect you as much as them. You know what would happen to you if anything sexual happened with one of them.. I don't want that for either of you. Jesus can get you through your struggle with your sexuality. Good luck and May God give you grace.... Jim

You pray just like anyone else, Jesus hates the sin, not the person. Speaking from a human standpoint, working with the 'lads' is ok as long as that is all you are doing. In other words, are your intentions honorable or are you doing it to prey upon these young men? if it is the latter, I would suggest another form of charity that does not feed into your 'sinful nature'. God Bless you and may your love for Jesus overide all other things!!!

Being gay is absolute non-issue in so far as prayer is concerned. What would Jesus say to gays in His time? If he could accept worst kind of prostitute and saved her life I am sure He would have compassion for gays. Do not go by existing rules. If Jesus returned today He may not approve many of them. Pray happily as every one else prays.

If you wish to remain gay, no amount of prayer will do you any good. Also, giving to charity means nothing if you are doing something that God does not approve of. You can't bribe Him. If you wish to clean up your life, prayer is the first step to recovery. However, for your prayers to be heard, you need to address God in the right way. First of all, you DON'T pray to Jesus. At Matt. 6:9, Jesus instructed his followers to direct their petitions to his Father whose name is Jehovah. (Ps. 83:18) And we do it through Jesus. Following the model prayer that Jesus left us is an excellent guide to approaching Jehovah in the way that HE approves.

Pray like any one else, talk to him as a friend.
As for being homosexual, that is an abomination, a sin. What did Jesus say to the woman caught in adultery? He said, I do not condemn you, go and SIN NOT MORE. We are instructed to stop our sinning, God will give you the power, but the work is left up to you to preform. Remember, that faith with out works is dead.

You talk to Jesus in prayer just like talking to anyone else. Where people miss it is they don't listen when He speaks back or they only petition Him like some kinda Santa Claus. Reading your Bible will also strengthen you prayer life. Your bible is God directly speaking to us. Faith comes from reading the Bible and standing on what you find. Be obedient and as your faith grows so will your spiritual life. God bless.

Based on you wanting to participate with the lads, I am giving you scriptures from THE HOLY BIBLE on the subject of homosexuality,

If you are serious about wanting to pray to Jesus but still participate in the lifestyle, you have to make a choice who you are going to follow--God or Satan? It's always a simple process. Remember, you are the sum total of your choices.

Repeat this prayer:

Lord, I am a sinner. Forgive me and cleanse me of my sins. Help me to turn from the sin of homosexuality. Inspect my heart to make sure I'm sincere and that I really want to be saved from Satan's grip on my life. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.

Hope this helps.
