well i feel that often, about many people.
i get outshined by my friends thinking people like them more then me.
by other girls at skool, thinking that they are prettier.
by my two sisters thinking that they are smarter, prettier, cooler, and that my parent like them better then me
i try to deal with it by kinda thinking of things IM better at.
hope this helps
good luck

It depends on who they are and what you are talking about. But generally speaking, sounds like you have run into the comparison trap, whether set by you or somebody else, this is not a fair way to assess yourself. In life, there will always be someone that will outshine you, don't make it a competition! You are unique and you need to realize that and move on to your own sense of self-worth.
It sounds to me as if you have the same goals set. Set your own different from the other person's, I am not saying change who you are, just seek it out in different ways. It is really hard to understand what is going on with so little details.....add more details to your posting!

The way a deal with this is to heap praise on the 'glory person' along with everyone else; over time people seem to get bored always noticing the 'glory person's' achievements and begin to look around at other and attention will turn to you.

its hard. guys in serious relationships are always having to deal with it. they are constantly compared and out-shined by her family's imagination of what she should be dating, because naturally, her family will always have a part of them that will think she could do better...
keep on keepin on, if you can't make them happy, at least be happy with yourself or you will make yourself miserable trying to pleasing the world.
