No you were not wrong. She is npw living under your roof. Now i know she probably thinks that hey Mom's gone I can do w/e I want. You had to put her in her place and show her that their are rules. I would however go into her room and speak to her. Calmly rationally and explain your situation. I was scared thatyou were doing bad things, what u said was unacceptable, it wont be tyolerated, but I didn't do this to "hurt" you just to teach you a lesson. Discuss how she felt getting a spanking from you and what she thinks the acceptable punishmet would have been. Ask her what future punishments sound acceptable and lay out some rules. But remeber you arent mom so make sure she remebers that you are still that cool oldeer sister(or brother) Also tell her you were sorry you upset her but are not sorry you spanked her she needed it. See what she has to say after you lay all that out on the table. Im sure shell start talkign to you again.

First off- spanking or otherwise punishing some one who is drunk or whatever is ineffective- they a) don't remember b) don't care
Secondly- you could be charge with the assault of a minor who being drunk could get you in trouble in some places for failing to care for her properly(neglect, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, etc)
Thirdly- sounds like a lot of stress in the household- a family meeting is in order to clear the air

She deserved that spanking. She should've been more responsible and I think you did the right thing to her. Did it turn you on spanking her?

Yes, you were wrong. You're her brother, not a parent, so you had no right to do that. Consider yourself lucky she didn't smack you in the gob with a frying pan.

i think violence is not good , if you really care for her first apo;ogize to her , then try to communicate with her slowly.
if you go hard on her you will lose her , i do not think that this what you want
