No you can not properly preserve cooked Puff Pastry because when you defrost it all the dough becomes like rubber,the best way is to prepare your pastry and what you don't use then freeze the remainder making sure you tightly wrap it in Cling Film and foil.

Yes, but, it first needs to be tightly wrapped in tin foil or shrink wrap. DO NOT JUST PLACE IN FREEZER! When you take the puff pastry out, place it in a toster oven or if you don't have a toaster oven, place in the microwave for a short period of time (1 to 3 minnuets, depending on the size of your toaster oven.)

Well, you can buy ready-prepared dishes that have puff pastry on them, so I presume you can. You'd have to watch that it didn't burn when you reheat it though, as it catches very quickly.

you can, but the crust will start to shell off. only freeze if its a pie crust..its better if you use frozen pastry on a fresh product.

I think not because when you defrost it it will be all soggy and chewy. And you do not want that. Yeaugh!
