You probably just saved the database data on the flash drive. Do you have Works installed on that XP machine? It will only work if you have works installed on the machine on which you are trying to view the data. It might open in access if you open access first, then open you file.

Is MS Works installed on the Win XP Home PC? Did you get the database from another PC with the app installed?
Do you get any error messages etc?

If the file was written and saved on a Windows 2000 pc it won't open on XP home, annoyingly.
Try installing Open Office on the XP machine and see if that can open it.

It will open MS office files.
