I think you are talking about monotheism - which means there is one God and only one God... For a Christian, I Believe in Jesus Christ who Died on the cross, I believe that the Holy Spirit is living in mean and is my counsellor, I believe in God the Father... And I believe that they are 3 in 1...
This is so important because God is very clear about us not worshipping any one but Him (God is a Jealous God).
Below this line is why I beleive in the tri-part nature of God.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------Case for a trinity
(Please remember that the texts when you go further back will have different translations because the church was run by the state who had an agenda, the changes were necessary for the truth…)
Genesis 1:26
This would not be a reference to the angels… (I understand that some people believe that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are God’s in their own right but as this discussion goes on it shall be very evident that they are triune.)
John 1 – The whole of the chapter.
Particularly verse 3+4 (but you need the whole chapter in context. God needs Jesus there to create. Jesus brought life (Jn 14:6) and Jhn 1:7 light – Jesus is referred to as light.
1 Cor 8:6 One God – the Father and Lord Jesus Christ.
Hebrew 1 + 2 (whole chapter) – Jesus through whom He created the universe…
Matt 28:19 ; God is a jealous God, 2 Co 11:2; Ex 20:5; Ex 34:14; Dt4:24 (why would he says those things and then encourage us to worship two other deities?)
John 14:26; 15:26 (Concerning the Holy Spirit)
In Isaiah the prophecy concerning Jesus’ name is Isa 9:6 – Wonderful, Counselor, Almighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
2 Peter 1:1-2
Rev 1:8; Revelation 22:12-17 (again referrer to John 1; Gen 1:26; Who is returning???)
Jesus who was (Jesus who died), who is (Jesus who is seated at the right hand of God (could he be the right arm?), who is to come (Jesus who is coming to take us to Heaven) Ref: John 1:1 -3 (Oh no are there three Jesus’?)
Isaiah 51:9-11
Isaiah 53 – Prophecy of Jesus
-Arm of the Lord revealed (connected implication)
Romans 10:9 – Through Jesus we are saved, Hebrews 11 – Faith in God was how the Old testament people were saved, now it is the same in the name of Jesus…
Just to throw it out there
Romans 3:22 -26
(TRY NIV, NKJ, CEV, Young’s literal translation, Darby Translation)

properly, I did study all of it, and that i'm a Christian. You study into the different religions truly properly. Commendable for someone who doesn't remember on God. i will initiate by breaking your 2d rule because yahoo solutions isn't about guidelines, that's about solutions. hence, evaluations. evaluation to maximum(no longer all) of those different communities of persons(Romans and Aztecs or perhaps the Greeks) won't be able to be made as they got here about lengthy after Judaism had started. In that respect, why hasn't Jehovah been disproved? I advise, of all those communities, purely the Jews are nevertheless round, and did not they purely those days get their position of delivery decrease back? unusual... also, I comprehend many pagan non secular ideas in Christianity, yet purely in Catholicism-esque communities. That sect did upload many customary pagan values to the rituals that it practices; although, the flaws contained in the Bible are truly distinct. between those issues pronounced about Catholicism, I purely regarded communion as being Biblical, and the Biblical communion isn't "God-ingesting". So, enable's less costly Catholicism from this verbal substitute as they don't seem to be depending on the Bible. you do not a minimum of provide the Bible credit for that's face cost. The issues that describes what got here about contained in the life of Christ(virgin delivery and resurrection) were envisioned in previously books of the Bible. right that's a contact about the Bible, there are four hundred ye

Oneness believers believe in one God as most Christianity claims, they believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, but instead of looking at as separate personalities or beings the see the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost to be One in number. They believe that there is one Spirit of God and that that Spirit indwelt in the Son of God which is the Flesh. Note that error of the Trinity assumes that the Son has always existed, but scripturally this is not true. Jesus is referred to as the only begotten, you can not be begotten and eternal in the same essence at the same time. Oneness believers do not believe that the flesh of Jesus was God but that God indwelt in the flesh. God cannot die, but the flesh (Jesus) died, therefore the term God the Son is inaccurate and unbiblical. The Oneness of God is so important because it separates the Oneness from the trinity. The trinity doctrine divides God into a unity, but when one says God is one unity he ceases to be One God in number. God is not a unity of persons God is one in number and in person. John 1:1 In this Chapter and first verse we find the word LOGOS which is Greek. This word means Mind, or Plan. How can one take the mind of God and within the mind of God create another person of God. We are made in the image of God and yet we do not have a multiple personality, and if one did he would probably get treatment for a psychiatric condition. God is a Spirit...You cannot divide a limitless Spirit which has no bounds. Oneness believe that the Son of God was the manifestation of God in flesh. And that the Spirit that manifested Himself was God the Father and no other. Colossians 2:9 it say that in him(which is Jesus) dwell all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Oneness believers are truly monotheistic just as God taught the Jews to be...Deut 64 Here Oh Israel the Lord our God is One LORD. bottom Line he is ONE RULER One Jehovah. There is no trinity just one inadvisable God. One Spirit and One body. Difference between Jesus and God....only substance not persons. When I say Jesus I mean the Son of God which was made of a woman, and when I say God I refer to the Spirit, please note that Jesus is the name of both the Son and the Spirit, I did this for emphasis to point out the difference of substance of Spirit and flesh. The flesh and Spirit is both Jesus. Who is God, manifested in flesh.

The oneness of God is about God being an omnious concept of all levels of existance combined.
Eg. Christians believe in the Holy Trinity; Son Father & Holy Ghost. They all have different purposes and stories. Whereas, Oneness includes all of those elements as one. Absolutely

for believers God is unity in an otherwise dysfunctional world, the reality of God`s oneness in the Godhead(Father,Son and Holy Spirit) is a soothing and reassuring reality in the chaos of everyday life, in connecting to this oneness by living a life of faith the believer also experiences a higher form of oneness within themselves and with other believers.

The oneness of G-d is the foundation of both Judaism and Islam, which is why it is held in high importance. Both religions are the antitheses of the paganism which was rampant centuries ago.
The oneness of G-d means that He has no blood relatives, no physical children, and He is undivided.

The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are the same. Like I am a father and a son and a grandfather, all three titles describe me. So God wanted to let everyone know that He is all. He is our Father, He is the Son, who delivered us from our sins, and he is The Holy Ghost who is our comforter. When Jesus said be baptised in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost, He was describing Himself, Jesus.
I think the main thing is to believe that Jesus came to Earth to save us from our sins. We should ask God for forgiveness and ask him to send the comforter to us to help us in fighting the lyre and deceiver, the devil and all his angels, for they temp us all each and every day. Everyone knows who their demons are. Pray that God will send the Holy Ghost to help with our temptations and keep us holy and pure so one day we can spend eternity with Jesus.

It means no divided aspect to the divine but then it doesn't explain why God would create a universe surely then He would just bask in his blessed unity.
