Sorry to indicate the obtrusive, yet attempt changing the batteries and bulb (oftentimes a spare in the top cap). check out the factors heavily as you're changing the areas. Maglites are infamous for being very vivid with sparkling batteries and not so vivid after a a million/2 hour or so of burn time, even however the batteries could nevertheless have quite some ability.

Because they are made well, from the best materials and have a life-time guarantee. So they are the only torch you need ever buy!
Think of it like this, if you only bought 100 cheap plastic torches during your life for about a couple of quid each, then threw them way when they packed up, the equivalent cost of your mag-lite could be £200 to still be same value. But they are only a fraction of this price so can really be considered to be the cheapest torch on the market, given their guarantee and how long they last!

surefire flashlights are far superior than maglites & at a smaller package. they are also more expensive than maglites. surefire uses aircraft aluminum w/ rubber gaskets & can be mounted on weapons w/o blacking out because of the constant vibration. surefire lights don't have a black spot at the center of the light beam.
