It could mean anything. Maybe they love you with a passion called hate, or maybe thay love the way you are nasty to them (up to a point).

my guess, would be that the two parties have gotten bored with each other, but neither one will break it off. some part of them still care for each other, but most of them feel like the other is bringing him/her down, and they loathe each other for this.
