How long is it until alchohol enters your blood stream or whatever? I just drank a small glass (like a cup maybe) of white wine and i'm wondering how long it will be until i feel something going on, if at all. It's my first time ever having alchohol so that goes into the equation as well. So please, any answers would be great.

don't start, it will cause problems in your life now and later. I am retired at 50 because alcohol ate my body away. its no fun, I hurt all the time

it may take more than a cup of wine to feel anything depending on how much you have eaten recently but, alchohol enters the blood stream faster than food because it is absorbed into the blood stream directly through the stomach instead of having to go through the normal digestive processes that non-alchoholic beverages do.

It depends on your metabolism and how much you have eaten recently. If you drank on an empty stomach it wont take long to feel the rush
