There are prophets out there. of course if I told my teacher that he was one he'd probably say I was out there even though he proved this to me.

Don't look with you physical eyes, look with the spirit. As my teacher would say "Pay Attention."

you've provided fairly some component about your beliefs. thanks. Christianity is worried with the own courting between author and created. i do not see a spotlight on a "degrading" morality. although, in view that 1900, we've had 2 international wars and an huge form of lesser wars. we've had huge murders by the U.S. and China and Laos and Rwanda and Uganda, and so on. i comprehend that we got here interior some seconds of a nuclear international conflict III. For reliable reason, this has been referred to as the most bloody century in all heritage. In mild of that, your actuality "morally the international is a miles extra useful position than it once became" is breathtaking. "the purpose of life is survival". that's negative technology. The be conscious "purpose" implies a plan. organic techniques which includes evolution do no longer have applications. Evolution doesn't care no matter if you reside to inform the tale or no longer. in view that ninety 9.9% of all species have lengthy gone extinct, why do you no longer say that extinction is the purpose of life? seem, right that's a quote from that fantastic atheist, Bertrand Russell: “till you assume a God, the question of life’s purpose is incomprehensible.” –Bertrand Russell those who reject God and communicate of applications are speaking nonsense. If we reject God, all we can do is to invent pleasant sounding causes-for-residing and pretend, i.e. misinform ourselves, that they are the reason we've come into life. Self invented causes-for-residing are psychological crutches designed to get us by life till we can die.

There is new guidance from God. It is a huge Revelation of about 100 volumes and it is and will guide humanity for the next 100,000 years. The name of the Prophet is Baha'u'llah (The Glory of God) and His original Holy Writings are to be found on Mt. Carmel in Haifa, Israel. You can find translations at any Baha'i Publishing Trust and most book stores.

We live in a society where we want quick fixes and solutions. We expect a hero to come and to save the good and to punish the bad.
This was also the scene at the time of Jesus. The Jewish people were waiting for a political leader, a Messiah to come to their rescue, to save them from their enemies who had conquered their nation.
Jesus came as the Messiah. He was not a political leader. He came to show us how to live in horrible situations and not allow the bad around us to conquer the good within. His kingdom was not political but his teachings could influence those who are political to work for a just world.
When Jesus stood before Pilate who was about to condemn Him to die, Pilate asked Jesus what truth was. Jesus told Pilate that He, Jesus was truth. Even if we look Truth in the eyes, we may not recognize truth. Perhaps this is because we want truth to look the way we want truth to look and act.
We have always had Divine guidance. We have the Commandments and Scripture.
Jesus told St. Peter that he was incharge, as the first Pope. He would be like a moral compas. Our present Pope and leaders are there to guide us.
We have the gift of faith and knowledge to help us to recognize truth. It is up to us to recognize Jesus, the truth that Who within and around us.
The future of humanity is up to us. There is a crisis because we have allowed it to exist. The guidance is there. The answers may not be want we want but it is there.

There is plenty of Divine Guidance, the emphasis on guidance that doesn't mean that people will choose to listen. The whole free will thing rears its ugly head yet again!

divine guidance has always been there. now man thinks he is cleverer and has ignored divine guidance. advent of Buddha, christ, mehdi is all there for us to investigate but we fail to do so. we listen too much to the priests and they are pulling wool over our eyes and are dividing religion and driving religion away from rationality. individuals must be able to discern between the word of god and the word of man. today religion is governed by the word of man and he twists and turns it around to suit his needs, his ego. you must keep on searching and investigating then you will find the truth.

There is divine guidance, but often we refuse to hear, or listen.

"Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand. 14In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:
" 'You will be ever hearing but never understanding;
you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.
15For this people's heart has become calloused;
they hardly hear with their ears,
and they have closed their eyes.
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears,
understand with their hearts
and turn, and I would heal them

Mathew 13:13-15

God also said in Joel

I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your young men will see visions

joel 2:28

On the above God is speaking of believers when he says all people.

We often look to kings, and presidents and prophets to tell us what to do or what to be aware of but God has only given us these because we have refused to make Him KIng, President or Prophet. We say yeah yeah i hear you God can you give me something more! I need a king to rule over me prophets to guide me and a president to protect me. When Israel asked for Saul to be their king, God was angered but instead of destroying Israel He gave them their king.

Understanding God inteneded that the only Mediator between Himself and you was to be God alone. Thus Christ came to restore us fully back to God
