windows xp sp2 (media centre)?

I installed this windows and i can't play sound
the message that comes is:driver is not installed
and the 2nd problem is :plz tell me registration key of this windows

your sound card is not installed or not correctly reg key will be on your packaging

first, your product key should be with the software if it is genuine. if you don't have a key, there is a hack available on the net. i think its called wga.exe but i don't know where you would find it. once you have it, run it. it generates a key that says the program is genuine. it even works on microsoft site when it validates to download from ms. second, go to the start menu and look up your programs and check for a media player. if you don't have one you can download it from ms once you have the key fix. you can go to microsoft for help by going on the q&a link. you may even get the ms updates under custom setting for updates if it doesn't give it on express which it should. to check your computer security configuration and get updates for any other microsoft programs you have download the security scanner 2.0.1 run it occassionally and just follow the on screen instructions. i use it for all my updates since i have a problem with auto updates. have fun!

you probably need to install the driver for your sound card. There are soundcards that aren't bundled up with the Xp installer, so you might have to manually install your soundcard driver.

you must install your computers drivers (sound driver)
for the registration you must goto microsoft.com and get the registration key
