Be more aware of how you talk to her next time you are together. Try to listen to yourself and see how you sound. If people are telling you that you are mean & bossy then apparently that's how you come across even if you don't mean to. Let your friend be herself. She's younger than you so she probably looks up to you. You want her to take on your good habits, not your bad ones. Back off a bit and think before you speak to her. Let her make some of the decisions instead of you always being in control. Give her room to show her own personality.

Talk it over with her before anything eal's. Make sure she is aware of what is going on. Don't keep her in the dark about anything, and then with her response you can work on changing what ever she feels you are being bossy or controlling about. You should also understand that when you pick on someone, anyone, you yourself normally would not notice what you are doing wrong, till someone points it out. Also just remember that she is a girl not a guy so she should receive the respect that a girl should have regardless if she is younger or older. Instead of thinking about ourself think about her and her feeling's.

I hate bossy friend..I will leave you if I am her. But being a good friend as she is, she is still with you. So count your blessing and try to change before you loose a good friend which are hard to come by this days....

Ask your girlfriend how she feels about it and accept her answer as the best answer you can get.

think a bit why they would say that about you....then think, before you decide to "tell" her what she should be wearing, doing, thinking, getting for you, where to sit, stand, who to like, dislike, come here go there, call me, tell me......think before you "do"......
