How long is the training for those joining the Army Reserve? Is it done in incriments of time (e.g. One weekend a month) or what? How long until they deploy you and for how long are you deployed each time? How OFTEN are you deployed or called for duty?

Your basic trainingwill be about10 weeks. This includes 9 wks of traing and about 1wk of inprocessing. Then you AIT (job school) will vary anywhere from 6wks to one year. Most jobs are 6-12 wks. Once your trained up your normal weekend drills will be once a month. Consisting of Satday-Sunday. Sometimes friday night too. Sometimes you will be gone all weekend. There is also a 2wk period where you will leave to train with the unit. This normally happens once a yera. I have been in the reserves and i am now Active duty. If you have any more questions e-mail me and i will tell you the whole truth around them, good or bad. Becareful around recruiters. thanks.

it truly is what i visit inform you. The bonus provided is low because the roles provided aren't to any extent further puzzling to fill and do not talke a range of of teaching, and do not talke a range of of brainpower. i have self belief your recruiter has those slots to fill and would not opt for to provide you something else. An ASVAB of sixty six is reliable yet no longer great, even if i'd anticipate extra technical or annoying positions to be accessible to you. in case you enlist for those specialties Iraq or Afghanistan will be your first stop after coaching. I advise you seem a lot extra heavily at what the military is providing....

Basic training, for all branches of military, is 6 weeks. Your other training will depend on what job you have within the military. Same with your likelyhood of deployment. You should talk to an Army recruiter if you are interested in finding out more.
