I have been using it for almost two years and I have never had a problem. When I first got it, it would occasionally kick me off the Internet and I would have to reboot the computer to get it to work right agin, but then I figured out if I only downloaded three songs at a time it would no longer cause the problem. I guess my computer was getting overloaded or something. But as far as safety, I think it is fine.

There is no P2P or file sharing software which is safe to use. If you want tot use it, have a good anti-virus, update their defination files, have offline and online spaywares, update their defination files, have a firewall. You will be safe. For spywares use Ad-Aware SE Personal Edition

Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.4

For firewall use Zone Alarm.

Yep....I use it myself.

WHERE YOU DOWNLOAD IT FROM....THAT'S IMPORTANT!!

Do NOT...get it from anywhere else other than the LimeWire official website......

People add bots to a good Program and place it on their website.
