Where is the best place to put a celestial tattoo?

My friend told me to put it on my lower back above my pantie line.

Across the top of your back. Celestial means way up in the sky, so make sure the tattoo is way up on your back.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here.... a tattoo is a permanent expression of your beliefs and should not be taken lightly. Depending on the size you want it (hopefully small so it will be noticeable and interesting and not stretch too much as you get older), I would suggest you take a drawing of the celestial and hold it in the various places you would consider putting it. The most common places I've seen them is above the shoulder blade (either one). You will be able to feel the best place to put it if you try this method. Other's advice on exact placement will not necessarily put it in a place that you like. A more important concern should be having a very good artist do the tat. A poorly done piece of art will scar you for life. Do your research and don't just take someones word that this or that person can do a good job. You will want someone that does good work almost every time, even if you have to pay a little more. (there's a huge difference between a Rembrandt and a wal-mart special)

There really isnt any "best" place. A tattoo should represent something about you or something about your personality. Tattoos are a way of expressing yourself. They should go where you think it belongs. For an idea I happen to have a celestial tattoo of my sign on the back of my neck. I really think that I chose the right place for it. It is all in what you believe to be best for placement.
