Yes...Lifting weights requires you to breath harder and more. By smoking your are accually going to hurt your lungs more than just purely smoking. If you smoke (which i dont recomend) while weight lifting you can run into problems like respritory shutdown. Thats when you turn blue because you are not getting any oxygen to your body.

Not if you suck hard enough and get all the nicotine you need!

If you're addicted, what can you do, you'll need to suck hard on cigarettes every day whether you want to or not, and whether your lifting weights or not. Look on the bright side, being a weightlifter and smoking might make some girls have all sorts of stinky thoughts about you, and want to get with you.

Aint nothing wrong with that!!!

It's plain stupid to smoke at all! Lest you think I'm a holier than thou Joe, I gave up after 35 years, after being informed that I was about 6 months away from developing emphysema. People with this condition cannot even blow out a burning candle. You can lose a leg or an arm, or all of them, and still live a good life - but try living by fighting for every breath. No,no matter how much weight you lift,the number of cigarette is still 1...the furthest the harmful toxin in cigarettes can go is only up to your lungs...Does it matter?

But still somking cause higher chances of lung cancer,heart attack and blood clots in brain tat cause people into long term coma,lost of memory or even death...So controll the number of cigarettes u smoke per day...

YOU ARE LAYING DOWN SO YES! Umm if you are trying to lift weights that means you are wanting to keep fit. Well i hate to break it to ya but smoking isnt good at all. My advice is....

QUIT!

it depends, if you have shoes and clothes on, at least you won't burn yourselve. if your working on a carpeted floor you may burn the bejezusse out of it, but that's beside the point, actaully all of this is pointless so is your excercising, cause if you smoke while you do weights, i just have to say why bother, when your obviously a chimney.

yes it will because smoking is not good 4 u i am not a smoker anymore and i been able to do lots more things better u should try to quit

yes,, bcz it damages ur lungs which is needed to provide ur body with oxygen and your muscles are part of ur body ....
its better if u lift wieghts without smoking
Smoking is bad either u r lifting weight or na
so its better to leave this habit..hopefully :)
