Sex.
Not kidding, I spent a large chunk of primary school trying to figure out what sex was and then one day my friend said to me: "I found out what it is! My cousin told me!"
I thought, "Finally, the mysteries of the universe are about to be unfolded to me."
And this is what she said: "If the man and the woman want a baby, the man wears a condom. And if they don't want a baby, he doesn't wear a condom. Then he sticks his penis up the woman's bottom."
Now, at least at the age of about 8 I had the common sense to realise that something was amiss there. But just imagine if I hadn't - God knows how many men could've taken advantage of my ignorance. Just imagine how sore my arsehole would've been.
Thankfully I waited till I was 18 and in love before I had sex for the first time. But I know plenty of girls (and boys) who didn't and it was a rubbish experience that they remembered forever. So teaching your kids that sex is something special is just as important as teaching them the, ahem, ins and outs of the matter.
Please, I urge you; teach your kids about sex as soon as they start asking and be honest with them. The fact that parents leave sex education up to the schools is a shirking of responsibilities and, I think, is the cause of so many teenage pregnancies in the world.
When we were at school Dr Price-Cabrera explained to us in biology class that boobs don't grow overnight and then showed us a video of a baby being born and That. Was. It. - if you leave it up to the state to teach your kids about human relationships and reproduction and hormones and sex - then you might find it's a case of the blind leading the blind.
Oh, and I wish I'd known life would be so difficult. When you're a kid people tell you to get an education and everything will just fall into place for you, and it's not true. As a junior reporter on a local paper, earning peanuts and working 12 hour days - I just wish that instead of saying "You can be whatever you want to be", my parents had just said "You can be a doctor or a lawyer. And that's it." And I wish they'd said it before I set my heart on a really difficult dream. But maybe it'll all be worth it in the end.

HMMMM!! I'd say tolerance for what all children should be taught by their parents and acceptance to difference. Me I wish I would of took Spanish in school. I feel so inferior when I try to talk to or express myself to any other person that speaks a foreign tongue.

I wish i knew more languages. I also wish parents in the latter days would have taught their kids their native language so that my parents could have taught it to me today.
Back "then" immigrants were forced to learn the English languagee and it was taboo to speak their native languag or propagate it via their children. Now its all about conformity.

we are all born with objectives about how our lives might want to or might want to be. that is organic to objective for the suited, and set our objectives to this. the element a range of of persons do not look to work out is that those are desires and objectives and they could under no circumstances come genuine in existence. What we are able to objective for is to attain as suited a close tournament to what we opt for, and keep operating at it.
