Only if you believe in Dispensationalism. The prophecy of Daniels 70 weeks has nothing to with Israel today. The prophecy in Daniel 9 had to do with the first coming of Jesus. If you are going by all of the events you are seeing on TV and with what you are seeing in Israel you will not grow up in Christ. Don't be looking at the earth. Look up for your redemption draws near. Look up to Jesus. Stop waiting for a Rapture.
I am a Christian. I believe in the Lord's coming. I watch for the Lord's coming but I do not try to predict when he will come again. Nobody knows when Jesus is coming again. All we know is that He will return in the same manner in which He left.
Mat 24:36-44
(36) But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
(37) But as the days of Noah were, so will also the coming of the Son of man be.
(38) For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,
(39) And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away: so also will be the coming of the Son of man.
(40) Then will two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
(41) Two women will be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
(42) Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord cometh.
(43) But know this, that if the master of the house knew in what watch the thief would come, he would watch, and would not suffer his house to be broken up.
(44) Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of man cometh.
When you read the above verses please note that dispensationalists will say that verses 40-42 speak of Rapture of the saints. Dispensationalists will say that the Christians are taken away. This is a lie. The Scripture in context says the wicked are taken away. When you look at the story of Noah's flood realize that Noah was not raptured out of the earth. Noah spent 40 days and nights in the Ark. The flood waters came and took all the people that were eating and drinking and giving in marriage away. Noah and his sons were already married. Noah also knew that the flood was coming. It took Noah about 100 years to make the Ark. As the wicked were taken away by the flood Noah floated above the waters in the Ark. The destruction of the the wicked and the salvation of the righteous happen at the same time. Mathew 24:37says: But as the days of Noah were, so will also the coming of the Son of man be.
Don't get caught up in the signs of the times. Nobody can predict when Jesus will come. If you are a believer of Jesus then you don't need to worry. If you are looking forward to Jesus' return you will not be left out. When Jesus returns everybody will know it, even the wicked. The righteous will be happy, the wicked will gnash their teeth.

Revelation 21:2 speaks of a NEW Jerusalem coming down out of heaven - this refers to a heavenly government, described as a "bride". All the books after Micah were written for the use of "all the nations" (not just Jews) & Rev 7:9 speaks of a "great crowd" out of all nations standing before God - so any nationality may belong to this group of survivors, as long as they follow God & His son & do as instructed by God's word, the bible. Psalm 110:1,2 says Jesus will go "subduing in the midst of enemies". Hmmm... Any enemies of Christ around today? Matthew 24 speaks of what the earth will be like "in the last days" (before the destruction of the world as we know it) and what the signs will be to identify when Christ begins ruling. Looking at what is going on in the world, it's easy to see that Jesus is ALREADY ruling in the midst of his enemies! There are calculations that can prove exactly when Jesus began his rule! When will the absolute end of this wicked world come about? The answer is in Matthew 24:14.

ur talking about the generation who saw the rise of israel will also see the end of the world. it may happen in our lifetime. the biblical implications of how long a generation lasts is very vague. the generation as we know it is coming up fast on retirement, so i guess it could happen within the next forty years. but we have to be very careful how we interpret the bible. i definitely think that the groundwork for armageddon is being constructed as we speak, but then again, god told us that no one will know the time of his return.

The most precise date that I have channeled from Jesus is that by the time that a person who is now 20, will reach the age of 70, that Jesus will have come again in the flesh. He will return when poverty has been removed from earth. More information in my book "Sananda Course in Telepathy" at http://www.telepathycourse.com

Jesus has returned, but only briefly to have his photo taken. We have been given many names during our many reincarnations on earth, but we are recognised by only one name when we become illuminated and graduate to the 4th density. Jesus is and has been known where time and space doesn't exist as Sananda, which is his eternal name.

One way to find out - wait. However, Jesus hasn't shown up for 2,000 years, which should tell you something.
