OK...well it's IN Los Angeles, not "near" it.
Hollywood, the famous one, is in Los Angeles, California, USA. It's in the heart of the city. Hollywood is part of the slums of L.A. It's pretty surprising to tourists who expect a wealthy, clean community. Hollywood is really a dirty and cheap area.
