i downloaded IE7 a few months ago when it was ready to download and all of that....but how come everywhere else i can see the new LOGO on my computer but it still shows the old ICON....how can i see the new ICON on my desktop

noooo cause i seen other peoples comps and they have the new logo with the yellow stripe

u need to uninstall it and install it again goto start>add or remove programs > click on show updates> uninstall and install it all over again

The desktop icon is almost the same for older and latest version of IE
