Any OTC mouthnumber like Orajel and I just saw a commercial (USA) that Orajel has an oral "bandaid" that you can cover your ulcers. Ulcers last between 10-14 days, if it lasts longer than see a dentist to get biopsied to rule out any possible complications.

Try rinsing your mouth with hydrogen peroxide. Doesn't taste very good but it works. It is not an instant solution, might take a few rinses. Good luck.

Hi Alec,
I had very serious gum infections in the past and, when the antibiotic did not work, I checked out herbal remedies in my herb books. Boil one pint of water. Add a teaspoon of myrrh. Yes, as in one of the gifts from the Magi. Cool, strain, then rinse your mouth with this. It really is bitter. One of my friends had mouth ulcers and I told him about this. It worked.
I mentioned myrrh to my oral surgeon and he said it was used in medications.

Go to the store and buy oragel for tooth aches not cold sores. the cold sore medicine is for exterior use only. the tooth one will numb the sensation around the affected area. be careful not to get it on your tongue. and also rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide, to help in healing.
