The Fourth Commandment states that Remembering The Sabbath Day, which is Saturday and keeping it Holy, will bring Peace To your Life. Im making A change in my life To Do What God asks of me, Will You DO the same? If So, I'd Be honored if you state your name,( not your full name), just Let me Know that you will try, if you are not already, to Honor Gods Commandments, (All), but this particular one has not been practiced by all, some of you may not know, but thats okay, God is giving us a chance To Learn the truth. Don't take my word for it, find out for yourself, the truth. Will you honor God Like I will, Let me know, thank you and God Bless

Thanks For answering, I pray that you all who Don't know that Jesus is God will find Out more about him, that is what Studying is all about, find out all that you can, The Sabbath Originated by God and Was not changed by Him, It was Changed by Man. Don't Give Up Because You are unsure, Please Read, KNOWLEDGE is power, Revelation 22:13 to the End States that God knew that man would Change his Words, So that is Why it Tells you to be Aware of This misunderstanding. Don't Look For understanding From my Point of View Look For yourself, ask God To show You What You need to know, Please my Brothers and Sisters, Learn all You Can Before You Doubt. I know that everybody will not Agree, the Bible Also States That Fact, But it Also states(in so many words) To educate those you can and to pray for the ones you can't, so You see my Friends God Already Knows What you are Going to Do, its up to You. Im praying For us All

I'd like to add that, Yes, I praise God Everyday, and I am sure that when he Walked The Earth, his Followers Praised him EveryDay, Even After His Death, But my Point of Truth is To Keep His Sabbath Holy and Know The True Day Of Rememberance. Im not making anything up, God Asks for us to do this, Yes Please don't just Choose a certain Day to Thank God, Do it Everyday, but Do Keep His Commandment, As He Asks Of You. I Truly appreciate You people of God, You People of The Truth. I learn Something new Everyday, and I gonna continue to study because I want to learn More, I pray that you will to. And Im Gonna keep adding To this Question as Answers Come thru, Thank You for your comments.

I keep the 7th day Sabbath and I am glad to hear that others are keeping it also. I am a Seventh-Day Adventist.
Here are some free online videos about the Sabbath that may help you as you study more about the Sabbath Day.

There is a lot of confusion on this subject. I want to help others understand the Sabbath better so I will respond to some of the above responses.
1)"Jesus Christ is Lord of the sabbath. A true Christian has their sabbath rest in Him every minute of everyday. I will honor God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength...that is truth. "
True, that is the spirit of the law, rest in Jesus, but does that mean you can break the letter of the law
Spirit of the law:
"Don't be angry at your brother for no reason" (Matt 5:22)
Letter of the law
"Don't murder"
can you say "Yes, I murder people, but I keep the spirit of the law"
Spirit of the Law
"Don't lust" (Matt 5:28)
Letter of the law
"Don't commit adultery"
can you say "Yes, I cheat on my wife, but I keep the spirit of the law"
Spirit of the Law
"Rest in Jesus"
Letter of the law
"Keep the Sabbath"
can you say "No, I don't keep the Sabbath, but I keep the spirit of the law"
If you keep the Spirit of the law then you HAVE TO KEEP the letter... its automatic.
2)"It doesn't say "Honor the Sabbath (which is Saturday) and keep it holy." It just says "Honor the Sabbath and keep it holy." What makes you so sure God cares whether it's Saturday or Sunday, and that it's Saturday at all? "
So you mean to tell me that EVERY Jew around the WHOLE world woke up one morning and forgot which day was the Sabbath?
The Jews did not name the days of the week the numbered them all except the Sabbath. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Sabbath and the day they call Sabbath we call Saturday.
Any Jew can tell you which day is the Sabbath they have been keeping it since Sinai
In over 100 languages the word for "Saturday" translates to Sabbath
No one disputes the fact that Jesus rose on Sunday. Any Christian can tell you that Jesus rose on Sunday, and Mark 16 says Jesus rose the day after sabbath.
Additionly the US Naval observatory and the Royal Observatory confirm that the Sabbath(Saturday) we keep today is the Same one Jesus kept.
We DO KNOW which day is the Sabbath
"Does God care? is God specific?"
Cain didn't think God was specific. Cain said "Abel, I know God said he wants a lamb offering... but i think God doesn't really care what we offer as long as we give something, so I am going to give fruits."
Did it work out for Cain? Did God care? Was God specific?
3)"Because I am a Christian Sunday is the Sabbath day "
I have to respectfully disagree there is only one Sabbath day and that is Saturday. There is NO verse in the Bible that calls Sunday the Sabbath, nor is there any verse that says we are to come together to worship on Sunday. The early church, Jews AND Gentiles, met on the Sabbath (Saturday)
The apostles kept the Sabbath
Acts 13:14
Acts 13:42
Acts 13:44
Acts 16:13
Acts 17:2
Acts 18:4
the Gentiles went to Church on Sabbath
Acts 13:42
Acts 17:1-4
Acts 18
The Bible upholds the obsevance of the Sabbath(Saturday)

It doesn't say "Honor the Sabbath (which is Saturday) and keep it holy." It just says "Honor the Sabbath and keep it holy." What makes you so sure God cares whether it's Saturday or Sunday, and that it's Saturday at all?
Don't say it's because Saturday is the end of the week and Sunday is the beginning. That's arbitrary. On a Latin American calendar, Sunday is the end of the week. We call both Saturday and Sunday the end of the week.
Anyway, except for that one tiny thing, I'm with you! I'll serve the Lord and honor all God's commandments!
God bless you!

Thank you for the 'wake-up' question. Because I am a Christian Sunday is the Sabbath day to me and unfortunately it has become just another day of the week to me. I don't really know all the rules that constitute a Sabbath day as stated in the Bible i.e. not lifting anything, etc.
Jesus put the Sabbath in the right perspective when he raised someone from the dead, healed, encouraged his Disciples to eat the grain from the fields as they traveled all on the Sabbath. The Scribes, Pharases and Rabbi's condemned Him for these acts of love and compassion and stated that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
When all is said and done the commandment 'love the Lord with all your heart and your neighbor as yourself' will keep us all safe and in right standing with God.
God bless you.

Because of the way your god supposedly made my mind so that I can think for myself and the fact that when I was a child my parents attemtpted to brainwash me into the drooling brain that thinks like yours...umm i can say that I do beleive like yo do. I beleive there are higher beings than us but they are not gods. Do I love them?...I love them like I love my neighbor...if I see him I wave hi, if I dont who gives a shyt. Weak minded people find solice in believing that things happen to them for any other reason than they made bad choices. I take responsobility for what happens to me and how it happens. My ideas/choiced, my consequences. That is real life no matter what God you try to hide behind.
