I come from a Christian background and I read one of the books and it kind of made sense in that it wasn't necessarily a new option of belief for me but maybe an expansion of my beliefs. Every other Christian person I know though totally shoots this notion down and challenges her. ehh...It's not really important but it's on my mind...

Hi Antonio! There is so much deceit in this world that it sometimes makes it hard to decipher truth. That is why we must rely on the truth of the Word.... The Holy Bible. According to scripture, this is a wrong path to choose... although some may not understand why, it can be very destructive in our lives. I have not seen anywhere in scripture that states that these voices can not be heard, so I do believe that there are 'some' psychics who really do hear/feel/sense "things". BUT, I do not believe that these, perhaps, voices are coming from a good source. God speaks to us in many ways, but Satan speaks too. Remember, God warned us to guard our hearts and our minds (Prvb/Phil 4) and to test everything we hear against scripture. I hope this is helpful for you :)

I have thought about that so often.... I really like Slyvia Brown, but there does seem to be a conflict there.
I myself have a hard time, because I am Christian too. I don't know if it is ok to believe it or not.

Sylvia Brown, while very entertaining to watch, basically tells people 'general' responses which can apply to anyone. Simular to Astrology, for example. Also, sometimes when I watch her on t.v. it seems that she is talking out of her a**.
Seriously, how can she communicate with every individual spirit within seconds and know every bit of unknown info.?

I challenge everyone of them... They are all con artists making money off of CONNING people. The better they are at conning you, the more famous they become. Alot of women are involved in the type of thing that Sylvia Browne is, because all women are great liars and cons... There's a few men as well, but more female tarot readers, etc... She can see the other side alright...lol

I know I'm going to get bashed for this and I really don't care because, yes, I do believe she has the psychic gift, why not? I love her, I have all her books and what she says doesn't go against anything I believe so it doesn't bother me, in fact her books have helped me. The woman has to make a living, she has a talent like any other paid professional, musicians, doctors, military, they all get paid but what they do isn't considered any less important or make us any less grateful for their services. :)

Uhh, she might have a gift but when you start charging people 200 $ for a phone call that's when it becomes a gift from satan. Her believes in my opinion aren't correct anyways, and note sylvia isn't actually christian she mixes spirituality with christianity.

I kinda believe. I'm always a skeptic, so I've tried to do some of the things she mentions (astral projection, seeing/hearing your spirit guide). Until it happens to ME, I won't completely believe it, but I will say that I believe in the possibility.

I believe she is a fake, phony, charlatan. She has made a decent living off of deceiving the naive...does that tell you anything. Don't get swayed by the nonsense and demons of the world.
