I read last taime on another Answers post that talks about something like this: Killing is necessary if the world or society is too wicked, like Noah's story.
So, if God wipes off the wicked will they go to Hell or to Heaven? So does God wipe off these people before they are too evil to go to Heaven? Or is it just because they are not worthy to live anymore? Unless it is the direct case of Ananias and his wife lied to Peter and God and died on the spot.(What book is this story in?)

Book of Acts, the wife's name is Saphira.
If someone is wicked (meaning not saved) and they are killed, they go to Hell. God gave those groups of peoples centuries to change their ways and they did not.
Also, you need to keep in mind that the Old Testament is stories that parallel with New Testament truths. Meaning that as Christians we are to read and study the Old Testment and gain wisdom from the stories and experiences there, but we are not to act in the same manner that Old Testament Hebrews did.
For example, the Hebrews were told to kill every last man woman and child of the Cannanites. We, as Christians, are not to murder anyone, but rather take from this lesson that we should erradicate sin in our lives just as the Hebrews did to the Cannanites.

I think the origins of these tales are probably the observations of disapproving would be religious authorities about the cause and effect of catastrophic natural disasters. Just like when Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans there was a number of religious acorns who said it was God's retribution for the wicked ways of the City, it's pure subjective and speculative hogwash.

Why do you concern yourself with religion? Those who do not believe in any god or type of god havent killed anyone. Religons and Gods have killed millions upon millions. I am an african american. Yes I served in the USAF. Since then I have studied and asked. Why do people believe in a GOD or do they care for a religion when neighther has done anyone for thousands of years aside from killing those who do not support one or the other.
