I currently do not have a girlfriend and haven't had one in a little while. Is it just me or are there others

of you like me out there in the same situation? It seems to me that as a society we are so caught up in our day to day lives and that sometimes we are missing some of lifes smaller and better things. Sometimes I get worried that I am not going to find a girl that is into me or that I might end up being that old guy that everyone sees at the club that is just a little to old to be at the club. I am currently in my early 20's so I think I still have some time before that is the case. I just think that in an age where there are hundreds of dating sites and you have Dr. Phil as a spokes person, there must be others with the same problem as me. Am I correct or not?

Aww sweetie trust me everyone goes through times like you are experiencing and anyone that says they don't is a liar..and yes it does seem like we are all so busy these days that there is very lil time left over for relationships.
Which is sometimes the problem..we put a relationship at the bottom of are list of priorities,which is a mistake.
Chin up...you are still young and I am sure you will find what you want when the time is right. :)

I'm in my early 20's, and I haven't dated anyone in awhile either. Part of it is me because I feel like I am at a time in my life where I need to be selfish and focus on me (I just moved to a new city and started law school), but I do feel like maybe I am missing out. I joke with a friend of mine that we're going to end up old and alone together with 40 cats.

I think that it's just hard to meet people with similar interests that isn't married, creepy, ancient, etc. The club scene isn't really a good place to really meet someone you want to keep around for a long time, but where else do you meet single people? (And please, when you realize that you are too old, don't go). There are bars that cater to an older crowd, but then those people always seem too old for me. Online? Ugh. There's community work and stuff, but that doesn't always mean that you will meet someone.

You are not the only one, I am sort of in the same boat. But it doesn't concern me too much. If you live anywhere near a major city it's not really that hard to find someone to have a relationship with, if you really want to. There's the whole bar scene, but you can also volunteer somewhere or join a club or organization- that is an excellent way to meet someone with similar interests as yourself. Lastly...like you mentioned there are sooo many online dating sites, it's almost ridiculous. So yes, society seems a bit cold, but I wasn't alive fifty years ago, so I don't have anything to compare it to!

Yes you are probably correct but l would tell them the same as l am about to tell you. I am sure you will not be that poor little old man sitting at the club, you are still very young and l'm sure attractive just wait a little while and you will definately find some lovely young lady who is into you. I would go for you myself but sorry already happily married. Don't worry your turn will come. Good luck !!!!

Dude you are such an ***! 2 words 4 you! GROCERY STORE! you can find babes all day long there and you dont have to talk about anything except like their husband or mom or what fruit is good for sex or whatever. Lonely women live at the grocery stores!

I'm having the exact same problem as you. Its extremely frustrating and I hate it. I think its our society today...people are getting married late now in life, it used to be like 18-27, now people are just getting married at like 30-up. I really believe people don't value marriage/relationships anymore. Its sad but true.
