What is the big deal about immigrants (legal or illegal)?

Remember back when there was a great influx of illegal immigrants (black slaves)? They were to do the jobs that normal americans would not do but this time for free. There was no complaining then except for the color of their skin. Today they come freely and work just as hard but ALMOST for free and you complain. Would you complain if the work was FREE?

Black slaves were illegal immigrants. Who gave the americans the right to buy and sell human beings. They were brought here ILLEGALY!!!

THERE IS NO MENTION OF NATIONALITY IN MY QUESTION!!!!

I don't understand this stupid fear, Why to be afraid? We are about people who are following the same American Dream that was follow by our ancestors nor the pilgrims. Mostly of the people who come as immigrants come here to work, to give their family a better welfare and a better opportunity to their children. They come over here to do all the jobs no one else want like in agriculture. Most of the Americans don't want to get those jobs, so the vacancies most be fill with them, mostly of the time they work 3 times harder than the normal American and their pay isn't even the half of good. Many of them get the tomatoes, spinach, beans, etc that you place in your table at the dining time. Perhaps I don't know what's the big deal, every body in US in an immigrant or an immigrant descendant, except the American Natives. So chill out and live and let live, every body have the chance to look for something better in life.

Mexico's a hole. If it was not a hole, people would not be fleeing it like rats leaving a sinking ship. You're advocating on their behalf because you think you're helping. But, in the long run, you're not.
If you're so concerned with citizenship, why don't you try going back to Mexico, and really try being a citizen there, starting businesses, becoming civically active, and so forth? They finally picked a president, it sounds like he's going to try to do the right thing, why don't you go support him there?

Americans can 'do the jobs that americans won't do' all day long, and many do jobs that YOU wouldn't touch for 50 bucks an hour, and do them for far less. I met some people that were pretty recently in from Mexico, legal/illegal I'm not really sure, but manicured nails and all, hard workers they were NOT. Immigration has become a racket, and a full-fledged business, and some reforms are long-overdue. Time to get them pushed through, starting with the US/Mexico border fence.

Send the illegal aliens home, let them apply their efforts where they'll really matter, in fixing up their own countries. Immigration law needs to be enforced, don't believe the hype to the contrary.
There's 2 decades of enforcement negligence that need to get made up, here, it won't happen overnight, and if you're any indication, there'll be a lot of kicking and screaming about it.
That's fine, too, and to be expected, and you're not alone, there's a lot of CEO's that'll be kicking and screaming, too, as one example, the guy that lost his entire business and is now in prison for 12 years. His entire workforce was composed of illegal aliens. His ENTIRE workforce.

There's a Big Problem when you have some guy decide to open up shop and only hire people that've skated 'under the wire', if that's not deliberately undermining US labor laws, I don't know what is, and it needs to stop.

If you don't really like america, and you really don't like americans, please feel free to leave, we won't stop you, promise.

They were brought to this country as property! Their Government thought it would be great to make money buy selling prisoners. Gets rid of the prison population and makes a few bucks for themselves. Their government got greedy for the money and started stealing people from tribes to sell into slavery.

So property can not be legal or illegal. Hence as part of something that is own they belonged to American citizen hence making them citizens. Making them LEGAL Not illegal.

African Americans were NEVER illegal immigrants, we brought them into this country. The average African American male earns 88 cents to the dollar of the average white male. The average female earns 74 cents on the dollar to the average white male. Figure it out. The average illegal immigrant is ILLEGAL...so if they want to break a law to get here, why should they be paid well?

When people have a really good thing and they know it, they don't like to share. That's what the big deal is. If you had a quadrillion dollars today and 500 people came up to you each asking for a million, you would feel like they were taking something from you that didnt belong to them, and that you were going to run out. Even though you know you couldn't spen all that money in six lifetimes if you wanted to. Americans know they have a good thing and anyone who comes here is just not welcome, legal or illegal. Whether they immigrate, or are brought here for slavery purposes. They are still not welcome.


I think that is a very sad mentality to have.

back when slaves were broght in, there wasn't over 3 billion people living here, and the tax system wasn't in effect yet.
There was no social welfare system for them to spunge off of....its not the difference in "who" they are, its that they are living off of people that work hard and pay into they system that they wll never see anything from, because they are draining it dry.

The crime the illegals commit, Yes, More crime is commited by illegals on the boardering states then any other.

Refuse to learn our language and culture/destory national pride.
commit crimes, drain welfare, food stamps, SS, etc.
have kids, so "chain migration" makes the problem way worse.

They drive down wages, too, so more of our own people fall into poverty.
