Jesus opened a nightclub called Heaven, its very exclusive only hot chix and guys get in and its the best hangout anywhere. Gotta be a VIP thought...I've heard its really good.

I could provide you with a long answer, but you wouldn't believe me and rather not waste your time. You know why Jesus is so famous, or at least you have your theories. Your question is rhetorical, and your just making a statement. I'm not sure if your making a statement against Jesus or for Eddie Murphy. I know you have heard it a thousand times, but Jesus saves, and all you have to do is accept him as Lord and Savior if you want what he offers. I will be praying for you. God bless

Jesus is famous because he is one of the major people written in the bible, a book that is a part of many religions around the world. Jesus is looked up to as an idol who teaches his followers life lessons. Religions such as catholicism gave the idea that one can have a personal relationship with god, and the same with Jesus Christ; The belief that confessing your sins and beliving in him can grant one a better life and a shot at life in heaven.
According to many, many followers, Jesus Christ died for our sakes so that we can be forgiven for sin and not condemed to hell.
Think about it like this:
Jesus Christ fighting against Satan, the one who pushes us into doing sins for him, is similar to Harry Potter, who fights against Lord Voldemort , the one who pushes others into doing crimes for him. They are both do-gooders for the sake of the world.

Even if you don't believe Jesus was the "messiah", Jesus gave his life for his people - that is an honorable thing to do. He also gave a message of universal love, which a lot of Christians don't seem to get, unfortunately.

Maybe i can help you understand what Jesus did. When i was ran over by a semi he cared for me and healed me and paid my bills. When i was attacked by the world he conforted me. When i went blind he gave me eyes to see. I was wounded and he healed the wounds. When i was hungry he had food delivered. When i was rejected he acepted me. When i was going to lose my home he sent me work. When i was cold he made the sun shine a little brighter. When i was lonly he sent a friend. When i was abandoned he came himself to check on me. And left hsi spirit with me. When i was broken he caused living waters to flow thru me brokeness. That others might be healed. When i was dieing he gave me live. When i was going to be executed he took my punishment upon himself and said i could Go.
You ask what Jesus did that makes him so famous worldwide. He gave his life for a world that did not him and a world that had rejected him. He gave love to a dieing world. He gave forgiveness to a sinnful people who did not even know who he was. Jesus gave blessing in exchange for a curse which he took upon himself. Jesus defeated death and the grave.

Jesus gave you a way to escape eternal death. Of course you have to do a couple of things. I think there is a book out that you can read and get a pretty good idea of what you need to do. What can it hurt?

Even if you don't believe in Him, there was that little thing of founding the largest and most influential religion in the world. Our entire concept of historical time even revolves around Him!
