Life insurance should only be used to replace the income you currently make for anybody important in your family. If you are not married and have no kids, then you don't have much of a need for it.

Once you have a family that begins to depend on your income for survival, then its an excellent time to buy it.

If you don't have a spouse who are you gonna leave the money to? The intention of life insurance is to assist loved ones should you meet an untimely demise. It would depend on your age, where you are in your life and what your future plans for the next 5 years are. If you intend on being single all your life then forget about it, you don't need it. Purchase a burial policy and be done with it. If you are engaged to be married, planning on starting a family within 5 years then talk to a licensed agent about what plan could best serve you.

Life insurance is good to get who is going to pay for your funeral?
Life insurance that will cover your death. As you are young it is better to invest upir extra money in mutual funds so you can eventually make enough money to cancel a life insurance policy and pay with your own money.

Life insurance is something you do want to own however, you might think twice about owning one (spouse). It's easier to rent one, cause once you own it, you can't get rid of her! lol

Spouses aren't like underwear - you can't just go into the store and pick one off the shelf.
