Jesus will not forgive a person who does not repent. Repentance means 'to change one's ways'. Why should Jesus forgive you if you continue to sin and don't care that you are sinning? Sinning is turning your back to Him, to say to Him that you know better than He does and that your way is better than His. He loves us all no matter what we do or say - unconditional love - but He will not forgive you if you don't apologize deeply, from the bottom on your heart, and try your best to change your bad ways and turn back to Jesus.

You say that you think He should. Why? If a sinner doesn't care about Jesus, why should He let you in Heaven?

Jesus Forgives sinners only if they repent of their sins
But he can also work in people that have no indention of believing in him to come to repented , and to believe I know this because there was a time i did not believe. For Jesus loves you

how can one be forgiven if they dont desire to be forgiven? You can ask to be forgiven and do the same thing over and over again which means that you are NOT sorry for what you did. So, my point is that I feel that one will be forgiven if they are truely sorry for what was done and does not repeat the action. Many think that they can commit the same act and it will be O.K because they can always go back to the priest or to God in prayer and will be cleared of his sins by doing this. One can do thousands of Hail Mary's and be forgiven by a priest but it's doubtful that God has indeed forgiven them if one continues to do the same thing all over again. Its like a child saying that he is sorry for being bad but does it again. His actions say that he really isnt sorry because he did it again. Now, the only difference here is that childeren dont always know better and adults do. God has access to what one really feels and forgives you if it is shown that you are sorry by not doing whatever you did all over again!

When a person repents, they feel actual regret for whatever sin it was they committed, and they change their ways because of the regret they feel. So...it's not possible to repent when there's no true feelings of remorse.

yes he does forgive ALL people. As he was hanging on the cross(so the biblical story goes) he said a prayer to the effect of, "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do."

That doesn't mean that people aren't aware that stealing or homosexuality is wrong...we all know that. What he meant was people aren't aware of the aftermath that these things do. Like the divorces that come as a result of financial difficulties because someone robbed them of everything they owned(thx again Uncle Sam).

I think the term for this is "the Butterfly Effect"

He, Jesus said:
"...anything you ask of The Father in my name shall be given to you"... (this also means forgiveness)
I personally believe He made the point....do you agree?
