with the fact that I, a disgusting Pagan, can walk among you, blend in your society, make you believe that I believe your God, and basically make you think that I am one like you? Then go home and laugh about it with my other disgusting Pagan friends. What I'm trying to ask is, does it make you feel duped? Did Ted Haggert make you feel duped? Just wondering.

I'm comfortable in the fact that there is nothing after death, therefore I don't have to answer to God. Does that help you?

Hi Nikkie: thanks for your response. I'm not crazy, I assure you. I work full time and am a pyschologist in the making, so may be Im a tad bit stressed. Crazy? nah.

Hi armgal: hey, you were in the army? MEE TOO! Sweet, where were you stationed? Anyways, it makes me very uncomfortable to know he's watching me whilst having sex or even taking a crap, makes me think that God is a stalker, yikes!

Bad Buddhist: ok, may be i should have said agnostic, but I was using the word pagan for added effect. Something about Pagans just really piss off Christians.

2006-12-02 19:35:57 · update #4

Obviously, I don't go out there and try and fool christians by pretending to be one. Quite frankly, I don't have the time. Believe me, I'm writing an essay on Maslow's Heirarchy, and studying for my calculus midterm in two weeks. I'm just saying, how does it make you feel knowing that there are those among you who don't follow, or cheat, the law of your religion?

"Pagan Nerds" I should make that a t-shirt.

To goofy: I don't feel like anything since I haven't "duped" anyone into believing I was a Christian. I was just giving a hypothetical situation, that's all. I must say though, that you true believers are awfully civilized in your response, even if you are muttering "go to hell" under your breath.

2006-12-02 19:42:32 · update #7

Well Morganna, such passion behind your response! Considering the fact that the word pagan, derived from the latin word paganus, was used mostly as a derogatory term, I am disinclined to think you are proud to call yourself a pagan, or do you yourself not know where it came from? And stop with the karma, unless you profess that you're indeed a Hindu or Buddhist and not a real pagan, young grass hoppa!

Hi Raven, you speak of free-will and how God gave it to us. Explain that one to Ramses, whose heart God hardened so that Ramses would not let Moses and his people go.

Nope, it don't bother me in the least. I believe that you have your freedom to believe in what you want, the same as I do. If you like to laugh about it, at least we know that you are getting a laugh from somewhere.
May God bless you.

How does it make you feel that you 'duped' them? There are already many people in churchs who dont really belive in the word, but they just go along with "chrchiness" in the each persons relationship with GOd is between them and God, and there, there is no lying, many people who really are christians do what you did, play church, fake, etc... So if someone is honestly pursuing the truth, they will not let others interfere

hahaha do u think ur fooling others or fooling urself, only a fool would think this world to be scientifcaly correct, what do u think is holding the earth, the moon, the stars, and everything in the universe, in its place, gravity? magnetic fields? graivitational pull of other planets?? all these are man made names and theories. you think there is thing like gravity in the earth. u think it is there because u were programmed to believe so. In school they taught u that. Man is not perfect no solution of man is perfect either. all these theories have been developed by man, so that they can sleep at night believing it so,

Fool

God is real and loves us all. I certainly haven't been "duped". God created you with your own free will to accept Him or reject Him. That is entirely up to you, and your friends. Laugh now, but when you meet God face to face and you are aware of the truth, I am certain that you won't be laughing then. I hope you can figure this out before that time comes. I am not not "uncomfortable" by your remarks for myself, but I will pray for you.

Of course not. If the people that you are around are being true to themselves, it doesn't matter who or what you pretend to be.

It's only you that lives with you. You're free to be your own person and if it makes you happy to pretend to be someone else at the expense of others, what's it to them. These people don't know that you're a trickster, but you know yourself. Good Christians forgive you.

The question is, what's it mean to you ?

You only hurt yourself as God knows you and all who you are! Who cares what you believe? Really...It is God who knows you and sees the things which you do. You are playing a deadly game and you will lose badly...I'd rethink your lot in life before I worried about others as we really could care less if you fake your belief or not, but God does! God is the one that will take out His vengeance on you! I assure you all joking aside, you will not be laughing....that is truth.

The answer is simple: no one likes being decieved. Christians don't, Atheists don't, Jews don't, Wiccans don't, Muslim's don't, Taoists don't, Buddhists don't, Shintoists don't, Hindus don't, Agnostics don't, and I'm pretty sure Pagan's don't either.

First of all, we are taught to believe in no one man, for he shall eventually succumb to some temptation, (as we all do), and therefore dash the faith of the weakest. And, the Bible clearly teaches that those who are in a "teaching" ministry are held accountable to yet a higher standard than the rest of us!
Woe be unto he who misleads my flock!
However, that being said, many, (perhaps even, most?), Christians are not taught this little-known truth about blindly following one man.
And... as for your little game... who cares?! You're not hurting those whom you walk amongst, you're only wasting your life away!

"The spirit which dwells within you judges all things"

The wisdom the Holy Spirit imparts and reveals what is outside the boundaries of human understanding. Spiritual things are understood in the spirit, for they are spiritually discerned. The world tries to comprehend them by the wisdom of man, when they are only revealed by the Holy Spirit, unto those in which He dwells. They are not of education or reason, they are of the mind of Christ, in us. Although the knowledge of God comes by way of our mind, it is the Spirit that quickens, or brings to life God's revelation. We cannot know God by our intellect, we can only know God through our spirit.

You are not fooling true spiritual christians. They are most likely praying for you privately while you are scoffing at them.
