That's strange, why are they "Reporting Abuse"?
I don't see anything wrong with this Question.
And, what kind of an Answer is "When you've read it in the original language - Hebrew, then we'll talk?"
The Testaments are really in a whole lot of different languages, if you're talking about the originals!?
Jesus Christ's mother tongue was Aramaic, not Hebrew.
Well, let me try to Answer this.
Mohammad claimed that Gabriel came to him and took him to a Cave where He revealed to him the Truth as ordered by God.
Mohammad never claimed any direct communication with God, but only the discourses he had with the Archangel Gabriel. And, he said that it was Gabriel who gave him the Knowledge that Judaism and Christianity were wrong and gave him the task of correcting everybody else.
How true this is, is left to your judgement.
I think that if he'd been around here, nowadays, he'd have been put in a padded cell.
Edit:
Even the three Muslims who gave a decent answer didn't know this!?
The Koran says that the Archangel Gabriel gave Mohammad the Knowledge, not the Books, incidentally.
How little these people know of their own so-called "Faith"!?

I'll answer that for you... without reporting, and without being sarcastic...
The Qur'an is protected because it is the last heavenly book that was sent down to man kind.
The real bible was changed, and the proof of that is that there are many verses of the bible, not to forget the fact that there is an old testament and a new testament. Where do you think those came from?...
Muslims get their information about Jesus and his life from the Qur'an itself. Jesus was mention more then once, and so was his mother Mary.
Mohammad (pbuh) did not get his information from the gospel, yet Muslims believe that the gospel was a holy book that was sent by God. (THE REAL ONE)
The original gospel, like I mentioned, was a holy book, but because it has been changed by mankind to fit mankind's life, it can no longer be considered a reliable source for the Muslims.
I hope that answered your question.
Peace.

Allah Exalted is He - didn't protect the Bible the same way He didn't protect the Torah, and the same way He didn't protect David's psalms. Why? We know that each messenger of that time was sent *specifically* for their people at that time - meaning their revelation directly related to them and wasn't meant for all of mankind.
The same way God brought those previous holy books through His Prophets is the way the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was brought - except the distinction was made clear in the beginning that this book was the final revelation of His - sent to Muhammad, and meant to be for *all* of mankind, from his time, till the end of time. *That* is the reason it was preserved, and God knows best regarding the other reasons which He had that are unknown to us.
Also, just to clear up some biography regarding the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):
Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years.
Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

Because Quran is the final testament from allah, therefore allah has made a promise in the Quran to preserve it, and it is actually preserved (you can’t find 2 different copies of the Quran, not even a in a single letter), this is not the case with the bible as there is different versions, no body can deny this.

I doubt if any one can tell you 'why'. It is not for us to speak on Allah's behalf. You can't blame us for believing in our Holy Book, the Quran, which is the word of God/Allah. Since there are some contradictions with the Bible, we believe is was tampered with. How can we call ourselves Muslims if we say "well the Bible is still intact" this way we are saying "the Quran is tampered with"!! We (at least me) never said that the Bible itself is fiction, no, the original is real, since it is written in the Quran that Jesus was given the Bible. We just don't know at which point/or by whom it was altered.

The Bible and Torah were sent only to the Jews and Christians respectively. The Qur'an was sent for all mankind.

If you can answer one question, you will understand what is Islam about.
the question is : < why God sent prophets after prophets? >
If you can't answer this, I can tell you that God sent prophets and any time he brought a book with him with laws from God, the people start changing the laws and the leaders start opressing people taking their rights, money, lands....
others start worshiping others than God, because of love for them, because they did some miracles, and so on..
I think there is 1.8 billions muslim in the world from every nation, different colors languages....
the fastest grwoing religion in the world. < Muhammad is the prophet of God, the Quran is more than 1400 years old, one version, one language, never touched by man hands = no deletion, no addition, no misconceptions, no mysteries....it's a miracle for all mankind.> the Quran is reachable in it's original form. nobody wrote it, it'is not a narration from different people. it is a Recitation << God give the words to the Angel Gabriel who brought them to the prophet Muhammad who couldn't read or write, so Muhammad just recited what he heard to people, so people recited it also. That way it was difficult for people to invent or add delete words from it.>>
That way it was revealed and that way it is right now and that way it will still until the end of time., God's word never change >> meaning he promised that whatever people will change in the words of God from Adam until the coming of Muhammad, He will send prophet after prophet to correct people's belief, and his words will be heard all the time.
The Quran is the last words of God that he will protect as he says it in the Quran until the end of time.
He says also, if you can produce one chapter, verses or less just produce it if you can. and call for devils to help you for that also.
Nobody did
If you understand that, If Muhammad copied from the Bible, The Quran teaches that << God is one, have no son, no father.....>>
<>
<< God says that he will protect the Quran and that the Torat and Gospel are altered>> Can Muhammad know that there is addition deletion in the Bible. and in The Quran God talk about the Torat and Gosple < his books> not the Bible < the work of others>
If so why can't you bring the original books like we have the original Quran?
Can you believe the Bible, but which version, which belief?
We worship the God who created us to worship him only.
If he sent his osn to die for us, why then he created us, didn't he know that his son will die?
If he is not his son, but God himself, again why he created us? to die for us ? God can die.
Does God knows the future or not?
I think Christians belittle the power of God and meny of his attributes. there is too many he can't, he loved, he sent his only begotten, It's like God is poor and he is in need of us and for somebody else to save us......
Know that I am not mocking or arguing. I will be in help if you have a question.
we are human being, se have the same brain, we can understand each other.
Peace
