After 8 months, I saw my ex boyfriend at the university campus that we both attend. He seemed REALLY happy to see me, he was smiling and looking deeply into my eyes, he kept asking me all these questions. I kinda seemed annoyed. At the end of the conversation, he said "give me a shoutout and we can do something", & I just looked at him, and he said "yeah we can see a movie together or anything you want", I just said bye and walked away. He was the one who dumped me 8 months ago. He hasn't tried to contact me since then and no, even though the ball is in my court I would never ask him, he dumped me!
Since he hasn’t asked me for this movie does this mean that all his happiness & “let’s see a movie” was fake?
I feel sad cuz I didn't want him to say that just cuz he feels guilty or pitied me:(
It's hard for me to let go cuz he was my first boyfriend and first kiss and I'm 20.
We never had sex cuz I'm saving it for marriage. What are the pros and cons if I ask him to hang out?

Well, he probably still cares for you but since you are not gonna put out, he won't want to get back. Move on and find another virgin that will save his virginity till marriage. Good luck

Good for you for waiting for marriage. Not to many people do that now days. Think about why he dumped you. If it was for another girl then don't give him the time of day. If he dumped you because of something he didn't like about you then ask yourself if you are willing to change that for him. He did put the ball in your court so it is up to you to give him a call.

It sounds like he wanted to see what your reaction would be and I'm glad you didn't fall for it. I wouldn't give him the satisfaction to see that you are really still "stuck" on him. IF he would sound sincere and want to go out, then that would be a different story.

Wellllll he is your ex...but maybe he misses you and doesn't want to sound desperate. Hey you could be friends. Its possible. Most of my exs and I are really good friends still. It could happen.

if you ask him out you can tell when his real feelings are and if he says you can pick what we do i would try to do it last minute so that he cant make plans to ruin it
