From where are you getting your evidence? The news? do they know what happened? did they witness it first hand? before everyone gets their pantys in a bunch why dont you try logic and wait for the investigation to come out. The news plays on folks emotion. Emotion sells, facts dont. What are the people inciteing the protests stand to gain? has a single one of them gave one little bit about the people involved or did they smell oppertunity and jump into the spotlight? All im saying is get the facts then decide not before.

You need to wait and see the evidence you can't listen to the media there just sensationalizing the whole thing.... the car is a deadly weapon they did hit the police car 2-3 times they did say they were going to their car to get a gun to the people they were fighting in the club when your on the spot you need to make the decision do they have one or not the police didn't shoot anyone in the head so it sounds like they were trying to stop the car from killing them or anyone else-let's see what comes out .

The guy was armed when he decided to run over an officer with it. Hello! You can be killed by being hit by a car. That is obviously their policy to shoot at people who are trying to kill them until that threat is gone. If that takes 1000 bullets that's what it takes. None of you know what is appropriate b/c none of you have been in this situation or worn a uniform. If someone is going to run you over on purpose, do you want a non-lethal method to stop them with? People who say that have no idea what the world is really like, what kind of people are really out there and what they're capable of. This ignorance is really frustrating! Everyone wants to act like they know when they don't have a clue except for what the media says and we all know they tell the whole truth. You guys are being led by the nose by the media. How do you know what a normal cop would do or what their methods are? Everybody is just playing a victim card not knowing what the hell your talking about. And you wouldn't give one crap if it was a white guy. Get over it!

no, the police were not shooting a person, they were shooting at a moving car trying to stop the car which had just ran over another police officer.
And you shoot enough shots to stop the car, and they did.
Had the bad guys not ran over the police officer with thier car, I guess this would have not happen. So try blaming the correct people, the bad guys.
And I guess someone getting married, should have been home, not out running down police officers

Based on what I have heard and read about this story, the cops overreacted. An officer was worried about someone possibly having a gun. It is alleged that the police began firing after the car hit an unmarked police car. It seems to me that when a person comes out of a club and hits another car, you should probably try to get them pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving, not empty your clips into the vehicle.
I say they are pretty lucky if they only face losing there jobs. If five guys standing around outside a club put fifty bullets into a vehicle that just smashed into there car, they would get assault and murder charges.

They attempted to kill at least three police officers - if not more. Bell and his fellow suspects (note: they are NOT victims!) got what they deserved for it. You attempt to kill a police officer, you will be shown lethal force - anything less is dangerous and a dis-service to the public. The undercover detective ID'ed himself and showed his badge, thats when he was hit and than the minivan they were in was struck was well, which had more undercover officers in it. In Law Enforcement, we are trained to shoot to kill - not to injure. And thats why you will see high bullet counts, because when you draw your weapon, your going to administer lethal force and at that point. These dirtbags got what they deserved.

I say, break the law, and expect to be arrested. Resist arrest and try to kill a cop. Expect to get killed. Sad that he was about to get married, but I guess he should have made smarter choices. People need to stop blaming the cops instead of the criminals...

It's hard having an opinion when you did'nt get to see it, but it sounds like the Cops really messed up. The guys had no guns and he was about to get married. Very sad. Crazy world sometimes. Maybe we need to use of non-lethal weapons in these types of situations. Like a gun that shoots a big net around would be criminals.
