I don't think you'll ever convince them.

... By answering this question:
How was the universe created?

The big bang is not a complete answer.

What started the big bang?

No theories. We need facts. We need you to build a spaceship and fly to the beginning and record the results.

Bottom line. We're all working with theories here. ALL human beings are misguided. We're feeling around in the dark for the truth. When someone shows a little imagination and tries to live their life with some certainty and sanity, you don't have to agree with them, but it would be wise to respect them.

Believe me, you do not want to try and prove that God does not exist. That is the biggest mistake you will ever make. It is bad enough that you do not believe God exists, and worse that you would want to convince any one to believe the same thing. I will pray for you that God can help turn your life into a happy one. One that is fulfilling because you know that there is a God who loves you and wants you to come to Him. He created you to have a relationship with him.

My questions is "Why do you feel that you need to convince people there is not god?" It doesn't help you in any way. You can't prove that their is no god and you can't prove that there is. But I will tell you, I would definetly like to error on the side of caution. That is why I think so many people believe in god. If you die and there is no god, then who cares. But if you die and there is, then you might have a lot of explaining to do.

Oh and 99% of statistics are misused. (99% of scientists are not religious, where did he get that crap)

Anybody who says there is no God is just not thinking straight. In your brain there are 100 billion neurons. Each one of those neurons(remember, there's 100 billion of them) is connected to 1000 other neurons. That comes out to 100 trillion connections in your brain. These connections send electronic signals(and you can measure the electricity) from one place to another. If part of the brain is damaged and you lose some function that is controlled by that part of the brain, the brain can actually re-wire itself and let other neurons in the undamaged part of the brain take over so that you can get back that function. That's only the connections in the brain, not the rest of the body.
Our bodies also have tons of information in the DNA. You have enough information in your DNA to fill encyclopedia sized books stacked from here to the moon and back 500 times. Do you really think that came about by just random chance........kind of like a monkey typing out the works of Shakespear just by randomly plucking away at the keys?
You need to step back and look at the big picture of what is being claimed by evolution, namely, that the unbelieveable complexity of the human brain(not to mention the rest of the body) is nothing more than re-arranged pond scum. It’s pond scum from the original prebiotic soup re-arranged over billions of years into 100 trillion connections in the brain by luck…..just random chance.

I like showing them stupid verses from their own bible : )

Revelation chapter 4:8
And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all round and within, and day and night they never cease to sing, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"

Rev Chapter 6:13: and the stars of the sky fell to the earth as the fig tree sheds its winter fruit when shaken by a gale

Rev Chap 7:1 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.

Who's more misguided?
The believer of a God, that lives a life helping others to be better people.
OR
The non-believer who goes through life serving themselves only.

I realize their are non-believers who also help others to be better people. But if you had to stand beside one of the two above, who would you choose?

It was thought that science would eventually disrule the belief, but years later, while science has evolved (99% of scientists are not religious), and theories are becoming more air tight every year, people still choose to either not research these, or not believe them. That is why I eventually think it will be considered a mental illness to outwardly believe in a higher power.

You will NEVER convince me that there is no GOD. I don't care if I was tortured or whatever, I still know that GOD exists. You are the misguided one.
