For those of you who don't know Appolonius was a contemporary of Jesus who claimed many of the same abilities and had an eerily similar birth story and history.

Actually Cadcar, A of T was also known to have been born of a virgin. I don't believe however that either he or Jesus was in fact born of a virgin.

Hi ~
there are many differences between the two, so just to name a few....
Jesus: entered the earth in an unusual way (virgin birth), he was sinless, he satisfies the spiritual hunger in man, has power over death, & has spoken the greatest words in all of history!
Ap.Ty. has not done any of those. He had several theories that could not carry themselves out. In modern day, I haven't heard or seen a continued following of his teachings. He most certainly did not have power over death and he entered this world the same way you and I have.
Once it is researched a bit, they are actually incomparable. I hope this is helpful for you!

I could suggest this...... JESUS is the son of God and he died on the cross to pay for our sin.......Read the bible everyday and you will know why JESUS is better Than Appolonius of Tyanna...

Jesus is real. He died on the cross and arose again on the 3rd day, and is God.
Appolonius may be a real person, but I don't think he gave his life for man kind, or razed from the dead. And I know he is no God!!
