cuz i have a brother and 3 sisters and i just always wish i was an only child cuz they are so annoying!! but sometimes they are helpful and im the oldest so i get blamed for everything!

I am an only child and I always wanted brothers and sisters. It is very lonely when you are an only child. It has good point because you usually get more when you are an only child, but the disadvantage is that as you get older, you need sibling to be close to and talk with. Also think about as your parents get older and you may take care of them and if there are siblings, you are all in it together. Thank goodness my parents are in good health, but I know someday I will need to help. I am currently taking care of my Mom's sister who had no children and she made me her power of attorney, so when she got dementia, I started taking care of her. She stays at home and has to have 24/7 care. It is hard because I have taken care of her and all her finances for 6 years now and it is stressful. I know that my parents will eventually need this some type of help, so I do wish I had sibling just to help me out emotionally. Cherish all your siblings. You are very lucky indeed.

I have a bigger sister but I can say that I was an only child.My parents got divorced when I was seven and I had to move with my mum and my sis with my dad.We didn't get along very well but not being able to see her for a while made me realize how much I missed her.I was crying a lot and I was very sad.I don't wish to be an only child again.Now,my sis is my best friend!

It rocks when you're a kid, but it sort of sucks when you're an adult. That's how my mother's cousin described it. One or two siblings is alright i guess. I think that you're parents would be on you 24/7 so it might not be so good. You wouldn't talk much either, unless you had neighbors with kids.

i've wanted a brother for years. there's some perks to being an only child (think christmas) but i wouldn't mind having a brother to fight and teach. you'll love them so much more when you leave. that's what all my friends tell me.

If you didnt have siblings your parents would be on you 24/7.
Also you possibly might be really quiet because you dont have anyone to talk too when you were little. You can end up really shy and a quiet person.
So I would say you are blessed =)

It is way better to have siblings. I know it does not seem like it now, but as an adult you'll probably change your mind.

sometimes it sucks because you have to do all of the chores and don't have anyone to talk to when ur at home. but you get spoiled

there is the ups and downs. right now you think it's bad... but later on you will love all. you should be thankful for have them. they are and they will be your life ... just give love.
