God created the Earth 6,000 years ago. About 4,400 years ago, Noah's Flood destroyed all life except that on the ark. Prior to the Flood, the world had a much milder climate. Up in the Antartic, scientist have found Wooley Mastedons that have been frozen in the ice. These animals are fully intact, with fur, and they're standing upright. They were killed so fast, that some are found to still have food in their mouth that they were eating. What confuses scientist, that up in the Antartic, what was found in their mouths was tropical plants.

Can anyone explain two things for me? 1) How was there tropical plants in the Antartic? 2) How were these animals killed so quickly unless it was a catostrophic disaster, like the Flood?

Little lady, the reason Job saw dinosaurs after the flood, Noah brought them on the ark. 95% of dinosaurs were sheep size or smaller. The larger varieties, Noah would have brought babies. Dinosaurs were seen down through history as the dragons in Asia, or the dragons the knights killed. They were eventually killed off by humans. If you look up dinosaurs in the 1923 Encyclopedia Britannica, it will say rare, but still living animals.

I cannot take seriously anyone who believes the earth is only 6000 years old. Egyptian history goes back farther than that. China's history goes back farther than that. There are writings from all over the world that pre-date 6000 years ago. Put down your bible and visit a library, please.

1) How was there tropical plants in the Antartic?

1. It couldn't have happened during Noah's time pre-flood, since the soil quality back then was terrible! Noah was expected to recultivated the land.

Adamic humans' heavy agricultural culture started post-flood with Noah.

My opinion for the Antartic anomaly? It occured in the pre-Adam era.

2) How were these animals killed so quickly unless it was a catostrophic disaster, like the Flood?

2. Move the Earth away from the Sun or move the Sun away from the Earth or just plain remove the Sun, you will certainly freeze a lot of things. There's also another additional explanation, remove the water.

Water flood means water flood, not sudden global
chill. More water, more heat. Pre-flood climate is probably colder than right now.

The only big biblical global chill post-flood I know seems to occured when Joseph was stranded in Mizraim and become an advisor.

When Earth was created? I don't know for sure.

When Adam was created? Probably around less than 10.000 years ago.

It should be noted that the time difference between the completion of temple by Solomon and the birth of Jesus is not known if based from the Old Testaments and the four Gospels. Traditional Ussherian chronology stated that it's around 950 years, but it caused a lot of events to be misplaced. I personally think it's around 2 1/2 times longer than the traditional Ussherian chronology.

Joseph's son Manasseh could have been the forgotten Egyptian ruler Menes, the timeframe certainly would fit. And Moses would leave during the time when Egyptian rulers use "-fre" suffix.

The Earth actually was created eons of years ago. But Jehovah created man 6,000 years ago.

And God went on to say: “Let an expanse come to be in between the waters and let a dividing occur between the waters and the waters.”  Then God proceeded to make the expanse and to make a division between the waters that should be beneath the expanse and the waters that should be above the expanse. Genesis 1:6-7

These waters were what kept the earth at an even temperate climate all over, and account for the tropical plants found in the antartic. These were also the waters Jehovah used for the flood. Without that green house type effect enveloping the earth the icy cold swept over the region and swiftly froze all in that area.

The tropical plants in Antartica help confirm continental drift. There are trenches in the atlantic ocean pushing up new crust, separating the continents apart from each other. But this process has taken millions of years- not a mere 6000.

Scientists have theorized a super storm capable of pulling down supercooled air from the upper troposphere, so cold that it can freeze life very quickly. It supposidly happens when the planet goes through major climate shifts.

I believe in God and all of His creations. That being said I think that many of the stories in Genesis are parables used to explain things that occurred. Almost all cultures have a version of the creation story and of a great flood that occurred at some point in our history. Some of the stories offer a account of how things happenned that see viable at the time, but now there is too much evidence for evolution and other things that explain many Old Testament occurrences. I believe that God created the universe, but He just set things in motion and interevens occasionally.

Back in those days the earth was like a greenhouse. it had not rained before the flood. The animals like the woolly mastodon were around but it was not that cold.

I don't know how the animals were killed, but I do know that they were not killed in the flood. In the bible Job 40:15 talks about Behemoth, and Job 41 talks about Leviathan. Both are types of dinosaurs that Job saw, and Job was born after the flood.

True about the Mastedons firstly, however you are leaving out a most important aspect of your story....How ironic that a creationist would leave out the most important part of a scientific story.....The ice they were frozen in migrated from a milder part of the world. The dinosaurs were wiped out by an asteroid...end of story. And, this happend 100's of 1000's of years ago....not 4400 dumbass. I already know that christians are brainwashed, but when it comes to you ridiculous creationists just talking to you or even trying to explain anything worthwhile or logical is just a complete waste of time. And, the planet was covered by water millions of years ago, there was no Ark and flash flood . Please wake up before you and people like you really **** up this planet. Please commit suicide as soon as possible. thank you, Jack

genius, why are you are concerned with what we believe or think.
I am not concerned with what you believe or think. If I want to believe a certain way that is my concern.
