No. John 4:24 says that God is a Spirit. Furthermore, Jesus is the image of the invisible God, and Jesus is a man. Finally, the Word of God says that man was created in the image of God, and then the woman was taken from the man's side. Biblical writers from ancient times referred to God as "He', so while God is a spirit, He does have a gender.

I say this respectfully: It would be a better use of your time and intelligence to ask: "Does a God exist at all?"....it seems to me ridiculous to wonder about the gender of a God who, supposedly, had the awesome and incomprehensible powers to create the Universe and all the life in it....for humans that's thinking the unthinkable since we could never understand such a superior force...Is it a "man"?..Is it a "woman"?...who the hell knows what it could be, if it existed at all...

I don't know if God is either. He is referred to as a man, but that could just be understood. I haven't studied the Bible enough to know if it clarifies it or not. I just don't know why God would need a specfic gender when He won't have a mate.

No, the God of the Bible is always referred to as a male. Jesus referred to Him as "His Father". Since Jesus, as part of the triune Godhead, has been with the Father forever, I think He would know.
