when installing software error code 2721 pops up and install ends

I don't know what the code means but there are steps you can take to try to solve it. First you need to go here : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=889482FC-5F56-4A38-B838-DE776FD4138C&displaylang=en
to download the latest windows installer and install it. Next re-download the software you're trying to install if you get it from the internet. If the software is on a dvd/cd rom got to the next step. Turn off all the antivirus/spyware, firewall or screensaver running in the background before install your sofware. Turn everything back on after a sucessful install.

the application which u are about to install is corrupted.
try to download it again :)
