You should never try to convert someone. You "bear witness" by the life you lead. That is the best witness you can ever give anyone. Period.

First of all, I'm not trying to convert people.
Second, I've heard many times that Christians should not preach outside church otherwise than by their life. If their life is saintly (and I mean truly saintly, not an acting of it), others will notice and will inquire into this faith that sanctifies men. If their life is not saintly, preaching is not going to do any good.
Third, if someone asks a question, it is OK to answer it, and even required, provided we know the answer--but without assuming this would lead to the instant conversion of the fellow. This might take twenty years or never happen.
So, to conclude, my conversion methodology is to look at my own sins and ask God's help in healing them. Everything else is divine providence.

Convertion is only a fools job. The person who goes to convert openly says my religion is stupid. I want more of you so I will be heard
Most conversion the world over is done -
- for the sake of money
- for the pressure or death threat
- that religion is at majority in that area.
I will never try to convert anybody, because there are a lot of things in my religion that has to be implemented, which is my life time work. It at all , I will take into assistance who so ever has the time & inclination to help me.

One that wishes to convert others must check on how strong they feel of their belief. Second why convert? it is the news of salvation we should spread. The ones that hear have to choose to accept or ignore. Where all this 'convert" come from?. To convert should always be a 'personal thing', and not a mission of second and third parties

You can never convert anyone. It is the work of the Holy Spirit to convert people. Our task is only to be a witness, meaning tell him about how you experience His love in your life and how God has saved you and converted yourself from a sinner to a saint through His grace.
But sad to say, many times we can preach and witness very beautifully with our words, but our actions are contrary to what we say, so our testimony is smothered or drowned by the loudness of our adverse deeds.
Many people have been repulsed instead of drawn into Jesus by the hypocritical lives of Christians.
If you really want to be a successful witness to others, pray a sincere prayer that The World May See Jesus In Me!
Many times we hear people say, I admire Jesus, but it is the lives of Christians which turn me off. Many Christians are only label Christians, meaning only on the outside or only doing lip service, but not really Christians inside.
That's why Jesus said that we must be born again, be transformed, or be changed into a new creature. Just like a butterfly went through a process known as metamorphosis, from a ugly, and destructive caterpillar into a lovely new creature of the air, feeding on nectar instead of bitter leaves, and spreading life by transferring polens from flower to flower, so we must be transformed persons that the world can see the power and love of Jesus reflected from our lives, and feel the life giving influence of a born again persons and walking by His spirit in Him. Then and only then will you see the miracle of conversions also happending in other people's lives you have come in contact with.
God bless you.

Give them the information on your religion if they choose to accept it then you have converted them. If they choose to discuss it further you can answer their Questions and they may find your religion intriguing enough to start. Honestly debate never wins any body. It just makes those who have less ground angry. Presenting the information well is the best way, try not to force them to listen to a presentation if they seem like you bother them. If that happens the best thing to do is to leave them with reading material and contact information. Hope I helped
God Bless

As a Christian, we don't convert anyone. Those who are His sheep, whose names have been written in the book of life since before the creation, do not need to be converted. We simply share the true Gospel of the Bible with anyone God places in our life. If they are of the elect, they will respond and want more, if they are not, they will dismiss it. Either way, it is our job to share the truth, the rest is up to God.

Don't try to convert them. Live by example. Tell them about God in a non-threatning way. Don't ram it down there throat. Be a good friend. Don't scare them with hell, though you can tell them about it. Respect their beliefs, even if you think they are wrong. Pray to God to help open their minds and hearts. Don't give up, you are trying to save their souls.
This coming from a person who hates God and is going to hell.

I wouldn't. If someone asked me about my beleifs, I'd tell them answers to specific questions they ask. They beleive however they do for a reason, just like they ask me for a reason--I don't shove my beleifs onto others. The way I see it, if people where meant to beleive as I do then they will when the time is right for them...no sense in pushing someone into som ething they aren't ready for--even if it's just a new or different beleif system than their current one.
