First off, who exactly are the "Muslim world" if your talking about the middle eastern leaders now a days, guess what? They can't be trusted, the prince of Saudi Arabia is building his own private yacht with the hajj money while some of his people go starving. I'm not saying that the American government can be trusted either. I'm just saying there's no hope for this world.

The unannounced reason we have an agenda in the middle east is oil and the fight to control the remaining supply will be a vicious one. America is a country of spoiled people and the world wants what we have and is getting it. Oil will soon be in short supply and Arabs, who happen to be mostly Muslim will be caught in that struggle.
I am an American and know the arrogance of our culture. We want what we want and will turn a blind eye to how we get it...as long as we get it.
For that reason I think trust, in a crises, should be given carefully. With our behavior so far, if I was a Muslim I would not trust America.

Can muslims really be rolled into one "world"? Who or what will represent the "world" of Islam? Muslims can trust America. They should not trust American politicians and businessmen.

When I was a child my mother taught me to put myself in the other person's place and try to imagine what they are feeling. This is a good place to start for both sides. I can understand why you would not trust us, especially with the idiot we have for a President. But the same goes the other way too.
