She had a serious boyfriend (for a few years) when she met me, then I made her leave him for me. She now loves me but I don't love her. I know this because I have been with someone else for a short period while I was with her and I felt much more for this person than her. I want to break it off, but how? What's the best reason/excuse in the book? How do you think I can Word it?

So you used her now you want to move on so wrong man,,,, Just be honest with her no matter which way you go you are going to hurt her... but it will take her less time to heal if you are honest then lieing an she find out later...... Tell her that you have found someone else and you want to be with her now! get your stuff and walk out.... don't keep her hanging on or lie.. Honesty is always the best bet

You don't have the power to make anyone leave another person. Trust me if she had loved that other guy ,there is nothing you could have done to make her leave him. Your ego is out of control. As for as this new (someone else) youv'e been seeing that you claim you feel so much for, I doubt it . You don't seem to feel much for anyone but yourself...this new girl better run.,here's what you tell the other ," I have someone else",at least be man enough to let her no.

You break up with her, in person. Tell her that the feelings are no longer there. You don't need to tell her about the 'other woman', but you need to tell her everything else. Good luck.

You could always tell her that you don't think it is working between you to and u dont feel that you can go on with the relationship any longer. You feel that it would hurt her if you dont break it up now.
