god is imaginary. This imaginary being has never performed miracles. Life is as it is, full of surprises and coincidences.

If people believe God performed a miracle what is that to you? How does what someones beliefs are affect you? You seem to imply that if one believes in God or Fairy Tales they are somehow not right in the head.
I have seen and heard stories of some pretty miraculous events. Whether it was divine intervention or not is up to the person. It's when people use God as a tool for their own self serving, that is when God becomes a problem for others.

Would you consider getting kicked off Y/A answers on more than one occasion and then against all odds getting back on a miracle?........ you must be here for a reason.......;)

Humans have the power of making certain things happen, like restoring health or making rain fall, by concentrating their energy onto something or someone. It's refered to as prayer by some folk. But, that's as miraculous as anything else in existence. Life alone is a miracle. Before people understood how fire was made, making fire by accident was a miracle. So, everything is a miracle. It seems that the notion is that when we don't understand how something wonderful and delightful is made to happen, that amazing thing is miraculous. But once we know what causes wonderful and delightful things to happen, they are not miracles anymore. They lose their amazement and become normal and uninteresting.

So, yes there are miracles still. Everyday there's rain. Everyday babies are concieved and babies are born. Everyday your heart beats. Everyday the sun shines. Everyday fruits and plants grow. Don't you think all these little things are miraculous? It's a miracle we are all still alive despite all the pollution we cause and bring to ourselves with all the crap we continue to encourage to be manufactured by factories. And it's a miracle we are all still alive with all the stress we inflict upon ourselves trying to compete to have more money and "stuff". The very same "stuff" whose manufacturing processes and their waste make our air hard to breath and our water impossible to drink. It's a miracle we are still alive and kicking.

I can't wait for a certain miracle to happen: The miracle of having collective agreement on living a truly blissful life as a global society, so that all suffering and misery is gone at once. Many of us are working on that miracle as we speak. ;)

My brother was driving home one day in his 4X truck. He was driving over a bridge and hit black ice. He was unable to correct the truck from sliding out of control. He rolled, endo'd and flipped the truck many many times. The entire truck was demolished, glass smashed everywhere, front end gone, tires blown, box crushed, a heap of metal. At one point the truck became air-borne. After it landed, it was over 1000 feet farther up the highway, but on the opposite side of the road and facing in the opposite direction, yet perfectly aligned on the road.

When police and ambulances arrived on the scene, they were confused by what they were looking at. My brother got out of the truck and walked away with no cuts, no bruises, no injuries what-so-ever. He was slightly disorientated when he got out, but he is quite well and alive today.

I call that a miracle. It is a true story! The police and paramedics that arrived on the scene were astonished as well.

I don't know if that qualifies as a miracle....but I was at a loss for any explanation.

I will tell you that the last time I was pregnant I tore one of my ligaments on the top of my stomach because of the weight of the baby. My family is very religious and had a special prayer for me. Within a couple of days my ligament was completely healed to the point that the doctors could not explain it. Honestly I have no idea what happened. I am not exactly sure who god is but I definitely believe in miracles.

Yes. Salvation is the greatest miracle, happens every day. But you want flesh miracle, right?

OK....lady had feet and legs swollen almost 5x normal size. She didnt get out of bed for almost 10 years. We prayed up, packed up and went over. We DEMANDED a miracle in faith believing....just like the Bible says (bartamaus) and her swelling went down to regular size and she walked that day.

Blessings,
David

I think there are still miracles, and I'm not mormon, just think of the last time you almost got run over crossing the street, missed being in a serious car crash, slipped on ice but miraculously didn't fall, etc.

Yes. This summer a woman at our church was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and given 2 weeks to live. We gathered the Church together for a day of prayer for her. She was healed completely. This is the truth. And she went to one of the best places in the Nation, they did not make a mistake in the original diagnosis.

Yes. Here's one: back in 2000, a little girl from Vallejo, CA was abducted and held by molester/child killer for days. Her family held a prayer vigil and the little girl escaped from the killer. Some call it luck, I call it the power of prayer.
