"Hey, Amanda" is just him being polite. He's a polite guy it seems. Maybe he just wants to be friends with you. Yes, he has a GF.... You can keep liking him from a distance till you get over him or till you meet someone just like him or slightly better.
No, it's not love, it's a crush. Not a bad thing though :-)

Once again. Is this Highschool or is it real life? If he isn't married he is fair game! Only diamonds are forever, girlfriends are a fleeting moment. If you think he is the one for you go after him. Make it be known that you want him.
Being a guy I know this stuff. Some guys are ***** most arent. You wont find out until you chase him down like the dog he is and snag him. The you will be rewarded or disappointed and move on to the next one. Be agressive. Laidback women windup with 50 cats and a spot on Animal Planet.

Taken huh? No problem. Just try to see, girl, if he deserves her or you. If you think that you can make him happier, then go for it. Just be sure that you really want this guy, and he's worth the trouble. Try to start yourself out as a 'good friend'. Everything should take care of itself from there, if he likes you the way to tell me.
But being nice and saying stuff nice to you doesn't mean that he's in love with you, though you might be. You need a stronger sign. You probably are just crushing on him. But hey! If you want him that bad, go for it! Just don't hurt anybody while you're doing so.

I have a Fiancee that lives in Nigeria. She doesn't have a Webcam but can see me on mine. Whenever she comes on line my mouth goes dry, my heart pounds, my stomach churns, I blush, and I feel like a twelve-year-old instead of a mature man. There is no doubt that you do not just have a crush, but that you genuinely love that man. Congratulations. Your only trouble is convincing him of that reality! Perhaps if you say to him you are interested but don't want to step on toes he will certainly know how you feel, and may not have plucked up the courage to approach you. I wish you the best. He's a guy who is nice. Lo and Behold, there are such things in the world.
I wish you the very best. I'm pretty sure you have a crush on him.. Just let things flow, become friends, and don't worry about hooking up w/ him. It may happen, it may not. Either way, it sounds like you've made a good friend

He is certainly treating you very nicely, and I know that you said he has a girlfriend. You can like other good people from your class, too. It's OK to like other people. It's hard to predict the future, because people will do what they want to do. However, as time goes on, you will find out. Stay postive and think good things.

You are intriqued by the challenge, because you want him more than anything, and you know you can't have him. Try ingoring him completely, if he ask what's's wrong, just look at him without saying a word. He will dispaly more affection for you. Because he will have to chase you for once. Goodluck.

im in the same situation, just with a girl
i just really like the girl and she likes to talk with me but nothing more than that. the only leverage i have is that im a junior who can drive and she is only a freshman and so is her bf so they cant really go out on a real date.
i guess just get as close to him as possible and see what happens. thats what i do with the girl i like.
good luck

No one's perfect and i doubt it's love. Its not like you can do anything anyway because he has a girlfriend who he seems to like because its not like he asked you out or anything like that. You'll get over him though and have many more crushes in the future...
