does the product have to be used with a special care that the dentist shows you how to do? Is it too powerful that you need special instructions on how to operate it?

It's the newest, latest, greatest. When they first came out 8 or 9 years ago you could only get them at the Dentist then...So since it's new that's the place to get it....After a while it will be in the stores....It's safe and has all the instructions you will need, no special notes from the dentist other than the Sonic Care is the best, absolute best thing you can do for your teeth and gums...I love mine...Change brush every three months imperative.....You can find them at all pharmacies now.....In the beginning it was hard to find the exchange brushes..... Get one they are worth the money and last, and last, and last........Happy smiling.
